"Waiting for Server" when trying to purchase

I’m stuck on “waiting for server” when trying to purchase any bundle. This just started after randomly being logged out. I logged back in and now nothing can be purchased.

I’ve tried both WiFi & Cellular. I’ve tried restarting my phone. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app - but it just keeps cycling ‘waiting on server’. I’m on iOS

Have the same problem and all communications with personal was no advised
Tried on another device and another IP and cache cleaned and devise restarted,game reinstalled prob after last update

Also on iOS with this issue.

Same here, it’s been doing this for 2 days now. I keep thinking they will fix it and so far it is not fixed.

No matter if I’m on my iPhone or either of my two iPad’s. Neither will get past the “Waiting for Server” screen no matter what I decide to purchase.

I guess they don’t want our money…lol

OK an update.

I asked everyone else in our home (5 of us) that plays WoW Rumbel to check if they can or not. Out of the 5 of us only 3 of us can make purchases.

My son can make purchases and he has the exact same iPhone as I do with the same updates. Mine will not let me make purchases.

My daughter and I both have an iPhone and iPad none are the same yet none will allow us to make any purchases.

I have 4 days and 10 hours until the packages I want (Gather the Guild and Season 6 rare mini) goes away so I hope it gets fixed in time.

EDIT: Those that the purchases worked for didn’t have and special bundles so they just bought a small refill pack. Those seem to work for all of us. My daughter and I are the only ones that had special bundles and those do not work.

So we believe it’s just the Time limited bundle’s not working.

Blizzard please fix that issue

Same problem here. iPhone 12 Pro. Refill Packs and some other packs work but I can not buy “Gather the Guild” pack. This creates a unfair situation against the other players who can buy the pack.

Same issues for me also using iOS. Can’t buy the Gather the Guild or the new pack that was just released for the new season.

I am also experiencing this. Tried signing out of everything including Apple ID. Nothing works.

Same for me, it appears that the refills will go through fine but any of the timed packs will not go through. Hopefully they patch today. :crossed_fingers:

I’m having the same issue aswell when trying to get the time limited bundles.

I love how there’s 0 blue response on this. Also submitted a ticket, which the response was less than helpful. This is absurd.

Same here. Hopefully they get it fixed soon… although we will miss a couple of buying opportunities. =(

I have the same issue, the purchase of time limited items in the store results in “waiting for server” message that never progresses to a purchase.

This is one of my last messages with my ticket.

I tried all of the suggested methods and still receive the “Waiting for Server” message that never progresses to making the purchase. It seems to be an issue with the limited time purchases (Fortunes of Stormwind, Season 6 Rare Mini Package, and Gather the Guild). I searched the technical forum and several other people are reporting the same issue with no current working resolution.

-Check for parental controls on Battle.net and mobile shop account

I checked this item, there are no parental controls.

  • Try testing on a different connection or device

I attempted to make the purchase on both an iPhone and an Apple iPad, neither device would progress past the “waiting for server” message with three cycling yellow dots. I tried each device on three separate WiFi connections and the iPhone was tried on a mobile connection, the issue persisted.

  • Try restarting the device

I restarted both devices and that unfortunately did not resolve the issue.

  • Try clearing the game’s cache and uninstalling then reinstalling the game

I did to this for both my iPhone and iPad. I logged out of the accounts, removed the cache, removed the app, restarted the device, and then downloaded the Rumble app again, I still encounter the same issue.

-If these steps don’t resolve the issue, then I would recommend reaching out to our technical forums for more information regarding this issue.

I searched the forum and located several other people reporting the issue, the forum did not have a resolution.

Several of the items are time limited and I wanted to restore my ability to make the purchase before the time expired. The one that expires the soonest has one day and about ten hours remaining.
