Stuck on the tutorial G.R.I.D. section. No gold to purchase a mini

In the tutorial, I progress passed the gold rewards and am now up to the point of purchasing a mini from the G.R.I.D. but have no gold to do so. I can’t interact with anything else other than the minis on the grid, so I can’t claim the gold rewards.

Same issue here, contacted support and got back a response that feels like an ai wrote it.

I understand how frustrating it must be to get stuck during the tutorial, especially when you’re eager to progress. Not receiving the gold for the Hogger fight and then being unable to buy the Tauren can definitely feel like a major roadblock. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling you cant even try and reset tutorial we’re just stuck at the grid.

Same issue on all devices. Totally bricked the account and not even just the account. You cant even reinstall and start fresh because it just sends you back to that Grid screen. Can’t believe these dopes have such a broken game they just drove a lot of people to via the direct.

I submitted a bug report and they said “yeah it should be fixed” and told me to post on the forums if Im still having trouble… I directed them to this post but we’ll see if anything ever gets done… what a joke…

Same issue, support is unwilling to assist in any way, only reads parts of my tickets and suggests ridiculous things like “you could just make a new Battle.Net account”.

There are countless of solutions they could do, like: adding 100 gold, allowing me to buy 100g, restarting the account, deleting the account, resetting progress.

There’s been an official reply on Discord that this has been seen and fixing it is a “super high priority” but still nothing has been done. Poor form.

Same as all of you; I must spend 90 gold when I only have 30 & there’s no way to access menus/etc to even have a chance of resetting the tutorial.

The support post on this issue states “ Our developers have fixed the issue that was causing this problem. Please try again.” However. I’ve downloaded today’s update, even uninstalled & reinstalled the app, but my account is still stuck at 30 gold, needing 90 gold, and no other menus are accessible

Same issue as the others - it seems like all that needs to be done is for the coders to return users to receiving the gold. Not the dialog that pops up after receiving it… the restore point seems to be the problem. You can momentarily see the “claim gift” behind her initial prompt to buy the mini before the Grid appears and then gets stuck with 30 coins.

Game is utterly unplayable without this fix. Both my kids and I had the same problem on a variety of devices regardless of updates, “account refreshes”, or reinstalls.
