They still have not fixed anything. They constantly close my ticket and just tell me its fixed. I have told them multiple times im still stuck. I have deleted the game twice. There is no fix, what a joke
They have now force closed my ticket and told me not to reopen it anymore or it will be a violation of support terms. This is a joke, they dont want anyone to play this game and are not going to be fixing anything
I am having the same issue, though I am stuck with 0 gold and wasn’t able to get the 500 energy to upgrade my hero either. I’m stuck in the tutorial and it is already connected to my battle.net account. Please help!
I just accepted the fact that this will never be fixed.
I was able to bypass the issue,
There is currently a promotion to buy some gold that has priority on the gnome talking, if you’re fast enough (about 2-3 seconds), you will be able to buy a promotional pack that gives you gold for a dollar.
To claim this promotion, click at the bottom left of the screen, right over the menu. It bright glowy blue button.
You will need to buy the pack (because no, support will not give you a whole dollar worth of currency to fix a complete game breaking bug for their customer).
Once you have bought the pack, you will be able to proceed through the G.R.I.D. and buy the Tauren, you will even be able to go back to the tutorial and claim the 100g that bugged out.
There is no lasting effect for this bug, the credit for the tutorial quest is correctly claimed.
This entire issue is simply that the gold from the tutorial mission not go to the account and that you can’t go back to click it. It’s a complete farce how useless support is at helping the player in any way.

It’s hard to express how disappointing this entire experience was, considering how ridiculously trivial it would’ve been for support to solve this.
Wow thanks for all your hard work. I wish there was a simple fix without spending money, I wouldnt even mind if they let me get the Tauren and go into coin debt if I could complete the quest after and go back to zero.
They should pay you and not their garbage support. This seems like such a simple problem that could be self diagnosed in no time and every support response is nothing but a shrug. It’s insane that a company the size of blizzard cant have a decent support team.
