We released an update yesterday that addressed some of the crash issues. We’re seeing that players are still experiencing crashes and are working to address these as soon as possible. I currently do not have an ETA for a fix but will update everyone as soon as I have more info to share.

Thanks for this helpful post; good to know I’m not the only one. I am unable to access pvp on my gen 7 iPad. Every time I try to enter a PVP battle, the app immediately crashes. Then, when I restart, the app goes into a constant cycle of half-loading and crashing.
