PC version not starting

hit install, was rather quick. I press play and nothing happens. play button comes back after 5-6 seconds of waiting to load.
please help.

im having the exact same problem, hit play and it says launching for about 5 seconds, nothing happens and button changes back to play.

Edit 1: Also the game folder is only about 12mb which im sure cant be right

Edit 2: uninstalled and reinstalled, it happened instantly and only installed 12mb again, no .exe file or anything

Check your phone, I had the same issue and now can’t log into either.

Edit: for those who have the error with the phone saying you’ve played a newer version, manually update the app in the play store if you’re android.

I never had it on my phone, this is my first time trying the game. Iopefully the issue gets fixed :frowning:

Yeah i’m having the same issue, uninstalled, reinstalled multiple times… always installs fast. and never get the game to come up

yeah it looks like the game isn’t fully installing, no way its only 14mb, there’s no executable file.

I’m experiencing the same issue - nothing launches and it goes back to play. Seemingly limited or incomplete install with no .exe or other mechanism for manual launch

Same, the game content is not downloading at all it seems (only about 11mb total)

Same except it takes 14 seconds until it changes back from Loading to Play.
Only 11.8mb in my folder.

Yup same as all of you. Although I was playing before the update came out. The game is supposed to be over 7gb’s. I was playing mostly without issue, but with some freezes and dc’s a few times. The last freeze I had to alt+f4 and noticed the update. Let it install and after that couldn’t launch the game. It was only after seeing in another thread someone mention the install folder size, that I checked mine and it went from 7gb’s pre-update to 23mb post-update. GG blizzard. lmao

Same situation here. it started downloading 7gb then it wen to " playable" and it seems like they didn’t even send the file my pc can’t find it to start.

Yea, when clicking Install, the “Calculating Size” shows for a bit, then shows nothing, as if it can’t find the game to download, and populates the Program Files with a bunch of nonsense probably from the bnet launcher. It’s a shame. The app constantly freezes on my phone, I was finally hoping to play it…

All the same, expect that i didnt alt+f4. It dc’ed, then told me there is an update, and i need to exit game and update. What happened next we all know

Same thing is happening to me as well. Maybe Beta is over? I hope they have another Beta soon.

Was working fine before the update today. Update was 7gb there abouts but after games folder is 23.3mb. Scan and repair doesnt find any issues
