I solved this problem after week by myself… You just need static external IP from you provider!!! Everything works fine. Thank you blizzard your support is so amazing

I am having the same issue. And have legally purchased copies (Again, since I used to own them but moved countries and lost them). No idea what to do. Anyone managed to solve this yet?

I never have been using any third party application (bought wc3 18 years ago), what is this mess with the last update? It’s so disappointing that you have paid your money, followed all the rules, but get continually temporarily restricted. So consumer unfriendly, Blizzard.

Same issue as the rest. Is there any clear fix? or willingness from blizzard support to even look at it? Like some of the others in this thread, i have owned warcraft 3 and the expansion for nearly two decades. And still find myself in this diabolic charade, which seems to have no conclusion

Im getting the same damn message and I haven’t downloaded a hack since i’ve bought this game when RoC came out.

EDIT: Fixed the issue, as others suggested flush your Dns.

HOW TO DO THAT:

press WINDOWS KEY+R
Type “cmd” without quotes in the box.

A black command prompt will open up. type the following and then press enter
ipconfig /release

After you typed that and pressed enter, type the following and press enter again
ipconfig /renew

Viola! You should be ready to go, and war3 should allow you to connect to bnet once again.

I have the same problem. Downloaded wc3 today using the reforged keys nad whe i try to login to battle net it just tells me i got temporarily restricted. tested everything i could find, wifi/ethernet, dns flush, changing ip, reinstalling the game nothing works.

how does it not work? are you on windows? are you typing ipconfig or lpconfig

if lpconfig youre doing it wrong.

i have this problem for 3 weeks now, it seems to be some kind of connection restriction, still cant join using my router ethernet cable or wifi, tried to plug in EDIMAX thing for PCs and make personal hotspot from my phone , seems to be working

If you use VPN it will work i dont know why it was doing it but it stopped after a while. i used ghost and bearvpn

Same here.

Note:

  • No pirate software was used, unless it’s randomly WinRAR finally having its dues paid (wtf with these comments)
  • Tried releasing and renewing ipconfig per suggestion by Hectic. Also tried elevated cmd and connecting to a different network

Additionally:

  • Last time it worked for me was somewhen in Nov '18 (when account was freshly bought, from Blizz, and was not used since)
  • My War3(TFT) version is 1.30.4.11274
  • Error message I receive is exactly the same
