No it’s not at all, this isn’t clear which is why the arguments started in the first place… Also I disagree with more of this post as well but I won’t comment on it because I’m sure anything I say would instantly make me a ‘homosexual’ it’s a bait post.
I like how betas bring the a**hole out of people.
wait what made it a bait. I thought about this for a little bit of time to figure out whats best for everyone. hence the disable/enable options. Did I say something offensive?
EDIT : was it the Disable Modifications part? should skins or modifications be removed, like which overlaps?
While you’re at it, i’d love these functions
Old Water Elemental [✓]
The topic in general is bait for everyone who disagrees. It doesn’t have to do with your wording.
Well im happy people are bringing it up. i think its a very good thing
Most large scale surveys I’ve seen range from 2-5%
Thats right.
You are a piece of cr.p
I must say, everyday im more and more surprised reading stuff like that… I didn’t think that specific group of WC3 community got that bad.
I just imagine that because a game from 2002 is such a staple for some people they’re stuck in that year. I feel bad for them considering 2006 is when humanity discovered fire.
Whelp here’s the honest to god truth.
A lot of us are just… exhausted.
We’re tired of being called evil and being beaten over the head with progressive “stuff”.
And I really do mean beaten over the head with it because it’s getting to the point where people will say anybody who isn’t representing one of the demographics is racist, sexist, anti- lgbtq…
or in other words a bad person.
The after effect of this is normal people being branded as monsters, and we get a tad irate over it.
some of us are just concerned.
We have movies, comics, other games that are failing due to their overt focus on inclusive themes and female empowerment (and also poor writing…).
So when we see these themes creeping into warcraft three it makes us very reasonably uneasy.
And some are just purists scum who hate change no matter what.
Myself, i’m not terribly bothered just yet the models look fantastic but, I do have concerns.
How much farther are we going to go with this?
And at what point do we see this crash and burn for it?
Like so many before…
It’s an alternate skin that you won’t even see every match that’s decided by dice roll or a menu selection (we’ll see how they implement it). Is Warcraft 3 Reforged really falling under the crosshair of being forcibly progressive?
It is, everything is being forced progressivism down it’s throat nowadays, and IPs that accept die off very quickly because of it.
Meanwhile from the very same company that’s “forcing progressivism” with an alternate model that you won’t even see in ever melee/ladder match, Overwatch (known for its diverse depictions) is getting a lite sequel and Diablo 4 is taking the different gendered characters from Diablo 3 and going with even more premade options. Those gosh darn dying IPs.
Diablo 4 is getting closer to it’s gothic christian roots, which is what everyone wants. Also, there are no news of a Female Druid, or a Male Sorceress, and I hope it stays that way, as gender-locking makes classes better.
Overwatch 2 is just the SP mode everyone wanted, but Blizz didn’t, though they are forced to make it because the game was dying fasrt.
ya thats what im saying. Including everyone is great. Having a character for everyone is great. These are just good things. THE ONLY possible negative is if the rest of the game is unfinished because of it. but honestly itd be a tossup for me since if the game doesn’t have either, its still unfinished in my eyes. I really dont think blizzard will give us an unfinished product, including one that excludes the necessary components for everyone to enjoy it, aka unit modifications.
Anyone gonna break the news to Jonus from the art panel or should I?
I genuinely do not and would not believe that recording dialogue, making a models, and animating the models for an alternate Demon Hunter and an alternate Death Knight has that much of an impact on a game that has that much of a similar workload (outside of the voices) but on a grander scale.
Ya I think it’s much easier to implement than what most everyone believes.
Well, then, I guess I will stick with Path of Exile.
