you can add your cd keys to your blizz account, so you have the game in the launcher. you just couldnt launch it via launcher. this will be possible with reforged.
i dont know whether classic will be completely disabled or patched to reforged. my guess is patched.

Today, I went into my wc3, wanted to pay some DOTA, but battlenet is grayed out. First I thought its regular bug or issue with server, but no. Thing is still grayed out. Now I read ppl say, you drop online support for wc3 classic!!! Really? Is this a way for cash in on same game twice? I play wc3 more then 10 years. If this is trully what you have done, force me to switch to reforged, that I dont even like, you have lost me. I go play on RGC, im sick of this all.
If you owned classic you can still play reforged but on SD graphics for free, the improved HD graphics is what’s gonna cost you.

I dont care about ‘‘HD’’ reforged, I never did. I want they leave wc3 in peace and stop ruining it like they do with their new ‘‘improvement’’ patches. So do I need to download reforged or what? I checked in my battlenet client, I dont have wc3 reforged in list, When I click on wc3, it shows me purchase REFORGED. So how can I play online now?
you cant play right now, as its all taken down for release preparations.
i guess you will be able to register your cd keys in you bnet account and get wc3 reforged with classic graphics then.
Now, now. Take it easy.
You will have your classic Warcraft 3 multiplayer, it will just be in Reforged client.
All classic players will have Reforged, just with no new graphics.
Like literally the whole spam in the last year was that they are staying in the same engine so people with both old and new version can play together …

This game will get any type of improviment in the graphics and that will get the new UI? Just to this game be able to looks like the same awesome product shown in the demo at Blizzcon 2018? Thank you, Kaivax! Have an great day 
First blizzard now this guy I’ve never even met say the earth is flat, therefore it must be true.
The release client has about the same filesize as the beta. Just an FYI.
