and revert tank armor. Tanks now are in a really good position - neither they’re too strong, nor they’re weak. You can see this in the Fortitude - Happy recent games in a tournament.

and the dh immolation needs 30% less dmg than it is now, as the DH can creep whole orange camps from lvl 1 alone.

orc expo can be reverted as it was before… orc doesn’t need expo early, as it will destroy ud and human.

Can you include some of the missing natives suggested from Hive before releasing the PTR as final version?
Adding new natives/events is always useful. It should not be too much work since all the functionality already exists and exporting it as natives should not be that much work. Especially, changing the current race UI, announcer sounds, area of effect texture and model per player would be really nice to add more races in custom maps. It would be the best to add field types for the Game UI and functions to change the field values which would work per player only.
Raising some hard coded limits like the hero ability limit of 5 and the hero equivalent limit in the gameplay constants would be awesome. It it is probably only one single number in your code but would improve many custom maps where your heroes get more abilities. Replacing hero abilities with new natives without using the Tinker Engineering Upgrade would be awesome, too. At the moment you have to copy&paste many abilities to allow this.
Besides, some native functions to hide/show the command buttons per unit.
Black Arrow is restricted to creep level 5 and has no ability data field to raise this limit.
Currently, I have to use a custom system to emulate its effect for creeps with a higher level.
XP, gold and lumber harvesting events would be nice and to check how much gold and lumber a worker is carrying/modify it.
Modifying and getting the unit training progress as well as getting the construction progress would be awesome. AoE2 has researches which reduce the training and construction time. These new natives would allow the same or add a research effect to change training/construction time for types.
Changing a unit’s movement type successfully via code, so it becomes actually an air or amphibious unit would be nice too.
Fix rendering 4 different cliff types used in a map in the game. For me there are only 2 cliff types rendered and the other ones are rendered as the first 2 ones as well.
Fix the multiboard freeze on maximize bug for big multiboards.
Many ability fields cannot be changed dynamically (it has no effect). For enchanting systems it would be awesome if you could change almost all fields dynamically.
Print more stack traces on game crashes. I get crashes with AI sometimes and the crash reports do not help in any way.
Minor thing: There is an ability from the beta Thieves Guild called “Spy”. I think it is hidden at the moment, if you add it to a building. Maybe bring it back for custom maps.
Thanks for patching. I logged in to ptr and lvl 1 blade mirror image with no items is critting for 86 damage.
Why make BM a summon hero even if it couldn’t crit or have items it’s too much.
Personally, the only time BM appears too weak is vs CL but the expo and other nerfs might help this.
lvl 1 DH vs militia 10 dead. Do not add these changes. These are strong abilities already I do not understand why they would get buffed. Isn’t 3 thorns way too strong as well?
Overall there are some ok changes. Ud nerf two base and statues is better for Ud than nerfing orb maybe.
Orc buff trade hh lumber for +50 grunts. Hope it helps mirror.
hh pretty much unchanged unfortunately since the 11 great hall patch. I thought they needed build time increased to compensate for that buff. Still very strong early and easy to mass.
Orc expo is a huge buff for all mathups. No opinion other than I’m not a fortified tower enjoyer and this is another orc patch 86 crit!
Don’t like the toggle circlet that’s too weird. Mostly not mentioning the inconsequential.
The tank changes would be rough if they can reach acolytes. I haven’t tested it, maybe later. Tanks seem fine in 1v1 without patch.
If you want to change something for HvU use the Bloodmage he’s much more fun than Paladin as a first hero. Siphon does damage vs ud? It’s not my job to think of fan fic haha
Hero changes I’d rather see are
Firelord buff
+200 range on Soul Burn so it’s as long as DR silence.
Alchemist revert the heal spray on enemies that was more dynamic.
Please no bm dh changes I honestly think that would break the game. 2v2 double dh into HU haha

How dumb that is? I will tell you. This UD nerf is = to making Usain Bolt start 2 seconds later in a race, because he dominates the game for so long.
Or Messi and Ronaldo to play on just 1 foot, because they were so so much better.

Lyn destroyed 4-1 120 yesterday, when Lyn is semi-retired and with kids, and play rarely, and 120 is constantly practicing and it’s a top tier player skill wise, cause not everything is playing 8 hours per day obviously.
Guess how bad UD will get wrecked when the patch took place? This match was before the patch.
If UD was so OP, why the hell history wise they ARE THE WORST RACE BY FAR ???

Both Remo and Neo has no idea what they are talking. They suggest the 25% BM dmg, and in the next day, they were crying that this will be broken, eh … who would have guest?
Giving the best DPS hero BUFF, is ridiculous.
Give shades dispel or a dot ability or something like that.
It is a good idea to exchange stats and improve the micro, but if you have 2 or more items, they should be linked and changing one will change all of them because otherwise it is an unplayable chaos
Ritual Dagger; Death Knight’s Death Pact and Lich’s Dark Ritual should not use on summon objects such as Skeleton and Carrion Beetle which is unreasonable because these objects are so easy to replace. It will provide unlimited health or magic without cost

Blizz didn’t do anything when Serral won every sc2 tournament a few years ago. Then when there were more zerg in the tournament and more zvz finals, they started doing balance patches. Please remove the undead, so I don’t get undead while playing random

Seriously our problem is not the UD, but that you are not good enough.
Can you please take a look at the Dreadlord hero?
Its currently one of the worst in the game, very slow moving and the bad vampiric aura (UD already has the worst melee units).
Orb of Venom should not stack the poison damage if the orbs are carried by different Heroes. It is unfair to compare with Human, Undead and Orc
120 and happy are good not because they are UD, because they are great player.
Happy’s Human can easily beat all UD except 120.
And 120’s ORC can beat all UD except Happy.
And yet UD get nerfed. UD is worst for expansion, yet nerfed for expansion. What a joke.
The problem of the recent balance patch is, the employees of blizzard listen to people who don’t understand this game. And the employees of blizzard don’t understand this game neither. They are only doing this to keep their job. Hey Blizzard, look, I am working. The same failure as reforged. People just go back to play the classic
Exactly. They don’t understand their own game. Total incompetence at it’s finest. Nobody asked for a balance patch! The balance is fine.
To be fair, this is like the third or fourth team that’s taken up the reigns to work on the game and has to learn from scratch all the tricks and code the original devs created on the fly when first making it. So maybe let’s give them some time to figure it out. Because it looks like they are actually trying this time instead of pushing out something they don’t really understand and then just leaving it broken and dead in the water until another team gets put together to start from scratch yet again. I for one am thankful that they are at least TRYING to fix it.
Trying what to fix ? Orc and Elf was fine, they actually was the 2 strongest race with most options.
And this team show incompetence once again, by listening 2 commentators who are s**** at the game. They have more loses to wins, and they just hating on Happy for free and trying to down UD, because of 1 player, who is 10x level above the rest.
We are talking about Happy, who they changed the rules in ShowCup to beat him, first to play Random, and then reverse race. And what happen, he beaten everyone again, and they changed the rules once again.
With the new patch coming, they are literally deleting UD from the game.
UD is a very touchy race. If you touch 1 thing, it’s the effect of the domino and it’s going to hurt everything. And they nerfed like 5-6 stuffs. That race is gone.
The only thing they needed to do is BUFF HU, and nerf the lame strat of Orc Air plays, aka Batriders, which are insanely OP for 2 limit, they counter all anti-air.
Also if anything UD expansions needed a BUFF, not a nerf.
Happy beats everyone on reverse race. Everyone. He beat them with Orcs, with HU, with Elfs.
He beats Moon like 3-4 time in Elf mirror, he beat Lawliet, Colorful, Kaho, Foggy multiple time in mirror, which shows you he is the better player by HUGE FAR.
He literally trained with RANDOM for a week, and destroyed every single top player playing reverse race …
He destroyed Focus 3-0 in Orc mirror as well. Beat both Chaemiko and Sok in HU mirror.
And beats all of this players with reverse race. If UD was so OP wouldn’t the result be different, h ?
Also why there is only 2 competitive UD player at top, and Nelf are like 10, and Orc like 10 as well, HU are at least 4-5 as well.
UD is the least played race because it was the first by far for 13 straight year.
And now they delete it for the game.
