I think everyone has valid points, and I will sit here and listen to both sides of the fence.
But if you think for ONE second its about which side of the fence HAS MORE NUMBERS. That is a stupid way of looking at it.
Of course WoW has a way larger playerbase than a 17 year old RTS game.
So what you don’t like the opinion that us RTS players would prefer no WoW retconning.
Therefore you want a POLL so you can OUTVOTE us?
Knowing we are the minority in this argument.

They advertised it as the same game with very updated graphics and some tweaks to how it plays. From my PoV i’m getting what they advertised and that’s what I want.
More the fault of the community hyping things that weren’t going to happen. Seems like they scrapped the new cinematic and voice overs early in development.
Nah, you are ‘objectively wrong’ if you want to play the exact same campaign go back to wc3. They are making wc3 REFORGED not wc3.

I mean now they were. Or at least aren’t as heavily as they were implicating in 2018.
These retcons have been happening as quickly as 2 years after their release and for as long as 16/17 years ago. They’ve happened in another game in the Warcraft series (even prior to Warcraft 3 or for Warcraft 3) and even outside of video game entries in it. A fully Reforged campaign wouldn’t be introducing the retcons, just reiterating and demonstrating them.

Literally so much hate on myself and other long standing players of the RTS just because we can be outnumbered by the WoW playerbase.
