W3 Reforged : Game planted on Mac when I launch it, can't play

Hey there,

Could we try launching the game in Window mode? To do this we’ll need to open the preferences file and edit it manually. To locate the file:

  1. Open the “Go” menu
  2. Click Library
  3. Open Application Support folder
  4. Open Blizzard folder
  5. Open Warcraft III folder
  6. Locate the file labeled War3Preferences.txt

Basically open up this .txt file and scroll all the way to the bottom. Once there you’ll see Windowmode=2. You’ll want to change the 2 to a 1 or a 0. I recommend using 0 for now as a test. Example: Windowmode=0

Once you’ve made the edit, save the file in the same location then retry the game. It should now launch in Window mode.
