Black Screen After Launching Game

EDIT UPDATE Fixed my problem by Uninstalling Adaware Free Version.
I had previously turned it off and made sure it was not running any processes, but that did not work. I had to uninstall the program completely. Hope this helps.

1. Temporarily uninstalling third party security software (anything that isn’t part of Mac OS or Windows by default)
2. Updating graphics drivers and operating system
3. Launching the game in Window Mode. (Windows / Mac)
