It’s not. Not at all. The warcraft 1 portraits and icons look better than those.
I think someone downloaded that as a thumbnail onto a smart watch and then uploaded it as a 4k picture to their pc and stretched it.

Edit: Well, the war1 portraits look like they came from the original graphics and not the remastered art, but that may have been done on purpose. Some people like pixel art, IDK.

I think they did show respect to the series that made them famous.
The war1/2 remasters are great (multiplayer in 2 needs a few things though…) and this update has worked well for me and clearly at least one other person that I played a 1v1 against.
I’m sure there’s some people having problems and I hope they get fixed. But the people who aren’t having problems don’t feel the need to come on to a forum to announce that fact, and there are some people in this forum that are known to just ride the hate train and probably haven’t played the game in years.

Outsourcing is a common practice in many industries when someone else posesses a talent you lack. It does not automatically mean something is going to be bad.
The way your post is written strongly implies that having Indians or Thais making it means its automatically going to suck. Which is a clear and obvious dig at those peoples, as you’re implying that those people don’t know how to or can’t make video games.

There are plenty of games that were “outsourced” that were perfectly fine. Most major publishers “outsource” their mobile games especially, because there are people in places with companies that have far more experience doing that kind of work than they do. Even Diablo II was essentially outsourced to a seperate studio and that game turned out great.
Technically every video game publisher “outsources” their work to whoever actually does it- publishers don’t make games, they only handle the business end.
Outsourcing is not inherently bad. It’s only bad when it’s given to someone who doesn’t acutally care about the job they’ve been given.

The Upscaling is very poor, looks like they used some free model with default settings and ran everything through it. Just terrible. This company is so cheap can’t even get good quality AI.
