I was so hyped that I’ve searched every two weeks for some new news about Reforged during the last year. Unfortunately we were left completely in the rain here. My last straw was the Blizzcon and what they have told about Reforged since then has completely disappointed me and my hype is completely gone.
So sad…
I don’t give a sh^t about fans who are crying “don’t change our beloved W3”. For F^ck sake. If you like the old voices and old cutscens etc. play old W3. This W3 Reforged should have this same campaing but redisgn. It should be both - old and new. The whole story should be the same but they could be changing maps, show some more secondary heroes like Falric? or Shandris? They all have been there. WE WANT TO SEE THEM.
I thought that W3Reforged will be the same story but directed from the scratch, Re-design.
They show us a re-directed The Culling Stratholme and IT WAS AWESOME. Why we can’t see all missiins like this? All Campaing?
If everything I get in this reforged version is new models for units and buildings it would be robbery.

About voice acting: Not all world is playing with english dub and i think in countries like germany, korea, china, brazil, spain, poland, france etc. they all will record a new dub for the game.
So why we can’t have this great looking new in-game cutscenes? Just why? Please give me a good, a very good reason why they do a old looking cutscens?

purists also speak a lot as if they were the voice of the whole community. I’m an old warcraft player, I still play the classic version of war3, but I was excited about the changes. He had told a friend that Reforged was being one of the few Blizzard acronyms today; was wrong. Blizzard is ugly, delivering something we already know. I suggest that Blizzard rename “Reforged” to “remake”, because what they did was fool a whole community.

What was featured in almost two blizzcon is different from what they now want to deliver. On the site itself had said over 5 hours of redone movies, and now they cut that too. I think it’s your aluminum hat that’s too tight to the point of wanting to defend it in the name of unhealthy nostalgia.
I think you’re casually forgetting the fact that they didn’t alter the campaign due to feedback from players. Need we remind ourselves of the massive outrage that the campaign would be retconned?

The game already has a new story, whether you like it or not. I understand that not all retcons are cool, but what we see in W3 is an outdated version of the OFFICIAL lore, which has more details like the simple name of characters.
It may be outdated, but it’s superior to the lousy sh*t WoW’s been putting out since 2006.
And most people who are WC3 fans don’t give a damn about WoW.

The campaign has been retconned before though numerous times throughout the series whether it was by the MMO, novels, or [insert other form of media here].
A more heavily revised Reforged campaign wouldn’t be bringing that much new to the table, just a re-demonstration of things that already came to pass.
Name the canceled and promised things.

Not accepting this is temper tantrum, immaturity, or too much nostalgia. What you can not deny is that history is moving forward, and you who love the past and do not see.
whether it is superior or not is a matter of taste / opinion. I will not be proud to say that WoW is doing wonders, it is not. And I’m an “old school” warcraft player, and I recognize that many changes made are necessary. What surprises me is that people are bothered by small changes, such as the presence of a captain’s name, or one more battle that was part of Canon history.
