are the Tavern Dark Rangers Night Elven in origin? If so, then it would make ALOT of sense why they look like that. but this is supposed to be a preview of Night Elf units ( at least I think so ) so this might still be (unfortunately) be a Night Elf Archer, or in a better case, the new model for Shandris.

What I was thinking too. Though Shandris is mostly depicted with blue hair, I think? Who knows.

I’m curious about what Ancient that is behind them. I want to say ‘Ancient of Wind’ but I think that might be wrong, even with the bird on its finger and winged totem on its back. Blizzard finally added Ancients of Wind in World of Warcraft for the Darkshore stuff and remembered they’re beaky with the multiple fanning wing-like growths on the back.

So I actually think the Ancient behind this mystery archer and Druid of the Talon is actually the basic Tree of Life. It has the winged totem on the back and the leafy chin scruff/beard.

Well bois, this my final thoughts.

the models do look amazing. however i will just “point” out some stuff okay? not trying to say its wrong, just pointing them out.

1- Original Ancient of wonders has green eyes and its hands glow blue.

2- Original Druid of the Talon has cloths surrounding his arms but the new one has feathers for the whole thing. the feathers for the original are only on the back and its half team colored.

3- The archer… i don’t think she will be an Archer unit. that looks really different, either a campaign unit or not an archer. but i don’t know.

Original archer:
does not have effect on her bow.
does have a bigger cloak covering her back which is great for teamcoloring.
does not have her face masked.
has a simple wooden bow.

and while she does infact have shoulderpads and armor on her hands.

i can’t help but point out with the Reforged graphics the armor looks too much.

and like it or not the belly is unarmored, which can look “inappropriate” with RF graphics, it was worth to point out.

They are High Elves… but, that purple glowing bow…

If you look at the image in full quality you can also see marks under her eyes similar to those of Sylvanas…

They shouldn’t assign tavern heroes to a race.

For example this “Dark Lady” they released is tavern hero

But so is Pit Lord so yeah now we gonna say NE also includes pit lord?

The ambiguity of it means we’re just speculating and don’t know for sure. For all we know this could be some strange take on Naisha. Or this could be Lady Vashj in a flashback before she turned into a naga.

I think that’s the Tree of Life. The Ancient of Wonders’ head and arms were made of rock, and doesn’t have the spire on its back.

I’m not sure why this tree doesn’t have leaves though.

I’m hoping that if that’s not its uprooted appearance, it’ll be something that the Tree genuinely grows into if they’re stripping it down a bit? I know it was unique for Night Elf but having your town hall just go up in scaling and get some effects (wisp-like things flying around for Ages, fireflies for Eternity) was a teensy bit lame. If there were more visual changes as you went through the tiers, that’d be neat.

Dark rangers doesnt belong to nightelfs.
That ninja ku klux klan model on official picture is 100% not an Ne Archer.
Its not a Shandris too.

Its is a new (campaign only maybe)unit called Nightelf Ranger .

Caught me on this guys.

P.S The circle image and that nightelf female face could be shandris (this is my personal opinion), she just need a hood.
But also she could go as ne archer, but i still believe its Shandris. xD
