This is a false premise. They released a vertical slice of what they want to be, a vertical slice is a super polished “release ready” demo made for shows to look as beautiful as possible. The beta we have today has all the finished polish left to implement, it is not a “release candidate”, it is a debug build, aka, performs like **** cause it has all kinds of analytical/ debug testing code within, just to gather data from the masses. This is how betas are supposed to work, before it became a glorified demo.

They added VFX to pitlord in a beta patch.
Animated 3D back ground and better chat text box I see.

Maybe people need to focus on something more important than graphics? Bugs,Unit Size,Features,Lore and etc,instead of judging an unfinished build?

I would say graphics are pretty important. Not everyone wants to look at a game that looks like playdo
