Depend on your POV I guess. Some people simply want to play Warcraft 3 with better grafic. Some are here for some Update. And some are here and want a full reforged games with something new.
In any case for some people the game is already doomed. Even if they delay it. For me depend on blizzard interest in it.
If they put a team for improve it even after the release I’m fine. If the team is here only for let the game a bit alive (like HOTS) the game is already dead.

If Blizzard’s only listening to pros and purists like you think they are, you’d think they’d have just not touched any visual assets at all and kept it to working on things more related to any coding, connectivity, or networking rather than having an art team at all.
Then why they’ve changed visual style to more Classic one?

Again - It’s good to have Beta state at release and THEN get new stuff after

If a game is released it shouldn’t be in a beta state.

If game is delayed - everyone would be hyped,everyone would be waiting for something perfect and their exspectations will be really,absurdly high - and when they’ll get “Not-good-enough” product - It’s doomed. Remember what happened to Immortal? It’s actually good mobile game but people were talking bad about it because they were exspecting Diablo 4

Again - It doesn’t need to be delayed,it needs to be Updated.
So people wouldn’t be hyped enough and their expectations will be high,but not enough to quit if update isn’t good enough for them

Agreed with everything! They should fix some classes yes. Arguably the most straight forward fighter in entire lore (Grom) uses stealth and clones and sneak attacks. That looks so silly.
You don’t understand.Imagine them saying
“We’ve listened to your opinions and make a decision to release this game in 2020! The game will be polished and we will return all the scrapped content! it’s gonna be a perfect game”
And here we are…Hyping,waiting,dreaming about something perfect - about exstended dialoges,about epic cutscenes,about WoW lore…And then - finshed product doesn’t fit to our exspectations - We’ve waited much longer than we were supposed to - and the game is still not as good as we thought

What we have is an unfinished product that could still benefit in multiple aspects and angles from more development.

At the very least ladder rankings and matchmaking should absolutely be mandatory.
I think Blizz worked a lot on the new Reforged campaign, including remaking the original campaign, voice lines and other content to make it all fit together. After almost a year, they found out that people simply don’t want that. So at the last moment, they scrapped all the new stuff including many cutscenes, cinematics, remade maps, and so now they are left with almost nothing and they are trying to make enough content to release in 2019. That is why there is so little content. Because they do not have enough time. I am sure the game can be much more than it is today, but rushing to meet a deadline and pretending that everything is done, is going to leave way too many people disappointed. And i believe there will be more content over time after release but… That means the game will keep changing to an extent, and that caused problems in a lot of instances. (like Vermintide 2, Conan exiles, and more.) That is why i think the game should release as multiplayer and later release the Campaign mode. A finished one. If someone really needs to play a reskinned Campaign, well, there are ways to extract old W3 maps and put them in Reforged as “custom maps”. I think it is better to wait and get some actual remaster and not just a rushed reskin.
Oh, and before someone descends his wrath upon me, this is my OPINION. not a FACT.
