It doesn’t have a matchmaking system, and doesn’t track win-losses. Name one other competitive game that doesn’t have those features. Please, I’m dying to hear the list.
It’s not a matter of exactly what I want. It’s a matter of these are core, fundamental aspects of a competitive game that is online. Also, these features were in classic, because again, back to my first statement, what competitive game online does not have this system in place?
This game is 2/3 of what classic was. Custom games and a campaign. Where’s the competitive matchmaking?
Right, but you’re not actually making things better by explaining why you gave it a 0.
The collective 0’s being considered as ‘review bombing’ and generally dismissed as toxic behaviour. If you are adding high quality oil to a blazing wildfire, and no one will see the difference in the flames.
Or you can, you know, not buy/refund the game and move on. That will register far more effectively than temper tantrums and reviews so obviously biaised that no one will take it seriously.
I have problems with the remaster too for sure, but I am not a mindless, unthinking, lemming that jumps on bandwagons. Does the game WORK? Yes, it works. Which means you automatically cant give it a 0. A 0 would mean the game doesn’t even load. If it at least loads it gets at least something. 0 reviews should not be taken seriously,.
These Blizzard white knights… for real… 0 review cannot be taken seriously? What do I give it points for then? for the ladder? Or custom campaings? or the awesome downgraded classic graphics? Or the missing daily tournamets? The missing clans? The friend lists that we lost? The Clans that were lost? The bugged campaigns? What does it exactly deserve a single point for?
You have no argument you just being a white knight at this point.
You can’t when you preordered the game so you can play the beta. I have played almost every beta blizzard has offered, starting with diablo 2. When I saw you can play just by preordering, of course I preordered!
Did the game load and you got the menu? Well it at least gets a 1. Can you play the entire campaign? Yep, well that should warrant AT LEAST another 1 (id argue campaign alone is 7 stars, but thats subjective). Can you Get into a MP game and play against other people? Oh yea you can do that too, as at LEAST another 1. So at the VERY least it should get a 3 because it is playable. Maybe not as good as an 8 or 9 playable, but it is playable.
Right? This company is known for being the fine dining of gaming experience. When I walk into a 5 star restaurant, I expect 5 star service. When you can’t cook my steak medium rare, and then you are silent when I say it’s actually raw, guess what? I’m giving you a big 0 on your google maps page.
Same goes for Blizzard. Only, usually when I do this for a fine dining restaurant, they contact me for further explanations, and make quick changes, like firing or reprimanding the server who sat in silence when I told him that this is not a 5 star experience.
Ok fine, if your the guy who played WC3 classic and feel like you lost your game because of it, Ill give you that. I think that is a problem that should have been addressed. But that still doesnt make the game a 0
If I wanted to play as make a base and move few units. Well, I could just pirate it at this point, why bother with buying the classic to begin with. It is about the social experience and that is completely shattered for me.
Buys a car from the dealership. The car is advertised as having new brakes. You go to stop at a stop sign after buying it and notice that the rotors are grinding. You complain, and the ignorant mirrored version of you at the stealership says, “hey bro, it still stops when you hit the brakes, so it’s fine. Go home.”
Yes, it is physically impossible to play custom campaigns, it is physically impossible to change some graphics settings, among other things that refunded removed from original wc3.
0 review cannot be taken seriously? What do I give it points for then? for the ladder?
When was the last time you saw a 0 review for a movie you had no interest in and decided it was a very legitimate and quality opinion? Majority of the time, a 0 review is gonna be from the likes of ‘0/10, not gonna watch’ type of response.
If you are choosing to lump your review in with outrage culture 0/10 reviews, then your review will not be taken seriously and it will be glazed over like the rest of the 0/10 reviews.
I mean honestly, do you care about going to Metacritic to read some random game’s 0/10 reviews? Because if you don’t, then you should at least somewhat see the point that I’m making here.
Clearly didn’t read. If you mention something isn’t right about your food, and it’s not addressed, uh… that’s a problem. If you know the food wasn’t prepared correctly and send it out, that’s also a problem. If those people who ignored all that are still working under your name at your establishment, that’s a problem.
