Blizzard app is an extremally slow app. The only reason I have to launch it is to launch WC3. I don’t play any other Activision-Blizzard’s game Is it possible to launch WC3 without Blizzard app?

The application does help with automatic loggin, and it is not that slow as I have been using it for years and it takes practically no CPU time when it does not have to update a game.
the carveat here is if you bypass the blizzard app, you’ll have to log in every time you launch the game, instead of just once with the blizzard app which can save your credentials.
I kinda have to ask what kind of toaster you’re running the game on if the blizzard app bogs your machine down enough for you to want to bypass it though.
it does suggest a slow harddrive. if however you do not care about reforged, you can run the old version, which does not use the app.
Probably needs a defrag. Platter hard drives still need to do that.
