I know some people may be upset with me posting this because it has been said tons of times before on these forums but I am persistent and will not give up while there is still a chance for Blizzard to listen to us. I for one am NOT ok with all the new cutscenes, new campaign and new voice actors being scrapped. This is a Reforged game not a Remaster, I payed for the game to be different to the original.
I understand that some players do not want this to happen but I don’t understand why?? The new campaign would most likely be a completely optional experience, it is just new content on top of the original campaign which would not be changed, this would definitely bring new players into the game. New voice actors I can understand but at the same time WC3 was what, 15 years ago now? Updated voices should be a necessity to keep the Reforged feel. And new cut scenes… I just have no clue why you would be against that honestly, like have you seen the cut scene from the 2018 Blizzcon campaign?
I want the stuff that was originally promised. Originally the said they would do it and in the 2019 Blizzcon they decided to scrap it, so I believe they could just as easily say they have listened to us and have decided to pick up where they left off with the scrapped content. At least give us some updates Blizzard.
I think it would be exciting to play another story which is not predictable.
When I want to dive in the other story I will play the old game, since RoC and TFT are also included.
Activision Blizzard should take their time and do the story they had in mind, like they promised.
Purists are half the reason but the entire scapegoat. Yeah, they threw a tantrum and probably lost modders and custom map makers a lot of assets organic to the game.
But literally nobody was upset at the thought of new cinematics. Yet those got scrapped too, and that was pinned on the purists as well (watch the Blizzcon 2019 interview). So really, the issue was time and resources, but they already had a group of salty fans, so they just blamed ALL the broken promises on them instead of being honest or just delaying the game until they could give it the proper treatment a “reimagining” (Blizzard’s words, circa 2018) deserves.
Yeah, I’m really curious as to why they don’t want additions to campaigns. Like, it won’t actually affect the flow of the story. Blizzard just wanted to make specifications, that’s all. It’s not like Jaina will be the one getting corrupted, and not Sylvanas. No, they have just had to extended to make it not look poorly written and rushed; believe me, that’s what I felt when replaying the campaign just recently. And I’m an aspiring/amateur writer myself to know why it feels empty or missing something.
I agree… please Blizz! We would love to see the scrapped Reforged campaigns!
I love new lore, content, and it would be amazing to explore WC3 on a whole new level and with a surprise, not just doing the same old Campaign that I already have been played 100 times…
Most people want this to happen. We hate WoW’s stupid story. We don’t wan it to ruin WC3.
Listen to the new voice lines. They are horrible bad and bland. There is no other way to say it. Yes the originals are still better. This only shows how Blizzard does not care.
Addons are ok.
Things like a better World Editor would be great.
Changes to WC3 story is horrible and nothing we want and gladly they dropped it.
No I’m not waiting years for little to no content difference. If this was another company who could get things done in a reasonable time than I’d be with ya. Blizzard is to slow with the most minor of changes. Stop it let them finish the game already.
