I think the game would profit from coop Missions like SC2 has.
i agree. it will however require more work and is likely to be further down the line.
This is something well filled in by custom games. If only there was a way to make full campaigns multiplayer. But of course we have to have that feature restored first…
I love to see a CO-OP missions in WC reforged … Totally agree
i did work on a co-op map myself but, i lost interest in working with maps completely after my last project stopped being registered by the editor.
Good idea, hope blizzard do more like this, after ladder, profiles and clans.
Disagree, there is a big difference between professional development (like SC2 coop) and a custom game (SC2 custom game for example).
I disagree with your disagreement, there are many highly skilled creators out there that have created content that rivals the quality of the best official work.
Arthas (Lich King) AND Illidan Stormrage… BECOME FRIENDS!
I would like this as a new feature/game mode. This would be neat to see how a Kel’Thuzad army would differ from an Arthas army.
I could imagine some key differences.
Kel’Thuzad - Way more focus on necromancers and Cult of the Damned stuff in general. Graveyards could produce skeletons on their own. Not as many big units though, and siege units would probably be rather minimal. I could imagine max’d out Necropolises becoming mobile fortresses in recognition of Naxxramas. Maybe even some plague-related stuff to produce zombies?
Arthas - Big, beefy units like Abominations supporting Arthas on the battlefield, giving him plenty of health via Death Pact. Maybe even have some extra functionality for that, like making Death Pacted units explode in a radius for damage equal to their health?
His weakness would probably be minimal numbers of ranged units, siege units might just be limited to Meat Wagons. Frost Wyrms might just be their only aerial unit.
Sylvanas: Lots of Banshees, possessing units being an immediate possibility or a quick upgrade. Maybe their Disease Cloud abilities affect enemies permanently or far quicker, in reference to Putress?
Word
Wc3 community can outcompete official content for days on end if its fixed properly, also alot of the people suggesting coop for wc3 dont realize that mapmakers will actually listen to their feedback and most likely be available at any time to consult on how to develop the project while Blizzard is more like an unreachable wall filled with crossed fingers
we still need blizzard`s help to add an interface.
interface on the default game ? absolutely not, non melee content from Blizzard is a direct competition against its own community, it shouldn’t be done.
interface is fully doable once the map loads with the new code natives.
omg imagine if Grom and Cenarius work together as allies
if the enemy is the scourge, they do have a common enemy but, they will likely not be the initial commanders. those are likely to be tyrande, thrall and the leader of the forsaken. who will be the human leader i am not sure about. kael is unlikely.
This would be a great DLC pack to expand on WarCraft III: Reforged!
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. First Blizzard needs to bring back all the missing features from the original WC3 and clans. Maybe then we can talk about DLC.
First of all, correct.
Second of all, the whole point of this game is that it can be self sustained by community with greater quality content then Blizzard. so uh, DLC is waste of time.
What would be nice is if all the issues are fixed we then get a world editor engineer to develop new features for mapmakers.
That’s cute. You’re funny. Maybe if they had more resources. And tools.
They have more resources tools and knowledge then Blizzard.
In the wc3 game/community, the roles of who produces and manages the best services and content is reverse unlike most games
community has more of everything. basically. except access to source code, more money isn’t required per se. because then one would assume certain projects with high production value have money involved in them but they dont have to ?
You dont have to be a billion dollar company to create a co op based custom map with unique heros custom supportive UI pieces and an addictive game flow.
