SC:R was a dumpster fire at release and is still missing features that will never get added

Those at least weren’t in the original game to begin with. A big distinction compared to the removed features in Regforged.

Isn’t telling people to look at C&C remastered like telling them to look at the 2018 WC:R demo?

People got to stop prebuying games.

YOU GUYS! Should Reforged introduce Mammoths as a tank in neutral camps!? It’d be awesome.

The problem is that EA is involved. I am not expecting much from C&C:R.

Especially since they ain’t remastering Generals & Zero Hour ;/

I support any unit that can kill other units by running them over.

That game is good but I think it’s pretty much run it’s course, especially now the world’s in a more sensitive place with some stuff going on in the Middle-east, so they probably might want to keep to the text books that’s less risky but that made it work for them.

GLA lol.

Ya remember when you pressed “S” and the tanks try to squish the units automatically lol. That’s what we need on Reforged. When you press “S” it surrounds an enemy units or hero :d

If I not mistaken, Star Edit was removed was from SC1 R, and now the mapmaker needs to download 3rd party map editor.

Star Edit was removed due to it being simply inferior to the fanmade map editor.

How would you feel if Blizzard asks you to download 3rd party to view your profile so they don’t have to add it for WC3R?

I also remembered that they said they are going to release and support the StarEdit development during the release of SCR but I guess that they got lazy with that idea and leave it to the 3rd party program.

Nobody is telling anyone to preorder , when we mention C&C remaster we are examining the product and methodology. Feel free to buy it on June 5th or any date after it.

You can’t examine the product, if doesn’t exist yet. That’s the same logic as judging reforged based on the 2018 videos.

People are already making “3rd party” models and skins in Hiveworkshop to make do for the missing models in the campaign

Btw to have the full version of w3booster you dont only have to download it.
Its behind a monthly fee paywall to unlock all the interface stuff.
Not fronting the guy selling it, its his work…but it is a shame players have to pay to be on an even playing field.
All those cool features should be in the game and not behind a 3rd party paywall.

(Oh crap, I typed this up and never posted it. Here it is 5 hours late!)

That’s true. I was thinking more of the game itself, though.

The SCMDraft 2 is for more powerful than the native StarEdit and was officially endorsed by Bliz. I suspect that they figured that since something already exists that’s far superior, they decided to just go with it.

Age of Empires 2 DE is still King.

Well to be fair Warcraft is a 3d game and the other’s are 2d, so I’m ok paying more. (modeling takes more work than 2d art)

I bought the spoils of war edition for $40 and if I would have gotten what they sold us on feel like I got a steal.

The problem is the game is a half-baked product.

What does SCMDraft have to do with profile viewing?
Nobody in the SC modding community used StarEdit. SCMDraft was already the de-facto mapmaking tool of SC for 10+ years. Are you actually serious? Why would anyone want Blizzard to be wasting resources supporting StarEdit?
