If you haven’t noticed I would say over 90% of the old WC3 Community are majorly peed off with this update.
I am one of them, thankfully I didn’t rush out and buy reforged, BUT now my days of playing WC are over thanks to the latest update.
I started playing WC back in 1994 when the first game was released Orcs & Humans, the game got better over the years with the TFT being the last one released.
I’m no mega star player, quite the opposite, as I have aged (i’m 54 yo now), and my disability has gotten worse, I will sometimes get called a noob. Sticks and stones.
But this update has broken me. What used to be an escape from reality is now just rubbish.
Can you not put the old game back up onto it’s own server and let those that can be arsed with Reforged play it.
I would like to see a poll of the WC3 TFT players who want the server back to it’s original state.
Then I hope that you Blizzard can see that you have killed a Community.

Hell even just give us the choice of playing with the reforged “skin” i mean game…
i just love how you are forced to download all the 30 gb of models from reforged even if you didn’t buy it

Agree, I don’t want Reforged, why I’m being forced to download 25GB to play a game I already have installed ???

Not only that, the download constantly crashes and the final downloaded game is laggy and unplayable

They also are grainy and stutter when being used. WHO wants a black that is actually greyish and has white grain looking material on it?
Please give us back our game

That’s the thing I’m most annoyed about, we the Community weren’t given a choice of what we wanted to play. Blizzard have been trying to get rid of us WC3 players for ages now, they bought out WoW, they made millions from. At least though it never interfered with WC3, but now they’re forcing us to make a purchase, one I certainly don’t want nor can afford, shoving it down our throats.
Either play Reforged or leave, I hate to do this, because I absolutely loved the game, but I will be leaving

I just got the update like 15 minutes ago, and I get an authentication error everytime I try , any fix to that? I want to play some TD

So basically you are telling me, that for the release of Warcraft 3 Reforge, they’re making everyone have to download this update and even though I did that, I can’t even play singleplayer/Multiplayer in the game I bought in CD format 15 years ago. Because for some unknown reason everytime I try clicking the Warcraft 3 icon in my desktop like I’ve always done, it launches reforge and then it gives me an authentication error. Guess… some company should learn from what Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition has achieved

custom games arent working at all from anyone i see in the chat. the chat doesnt work most of the time because it wont take what ive been sending in response to people. playing a solo game is so stuttery and jerky its like they are moving at 2-5 frames tho im seeing alot higher obviously. OH and the color schemes they decided on are garbage… black not being black for instance

Blizzbots, make sure you give nightshade a ban. He gave his opinion on the game, and it doesnt sound very nice. It actually even hurt my feelings!
What about the authentication error, I just can’t access the game anymore, do I need to register my Warcraft cd-key in this blizzard account ? Because I see many people playing Reforge just fine or Warcraft 3 Classic

Give us old schoolers a chance to play the game in the original client again. This was a MAJOR mistake. Don’t destroy what’s left of this amazing community. Roll back the update. Bring back the classic client.
I want the classic chat window. I want my profile. I want to view other people’s profiles. I want to BE IN A CLAN, for haven’s sakes!
Don’t segregate players like that. Give us a fighting chance. You’ve already killed ROC. Don’t kill the old classic client.
