Arthas in WC3 Reforged

And again, hello to the amateur and rewriter of Warcraft 3. And today, in my opinion, and probably not only from me, I’ve got such an interesting question … what could Arthas have to do to remove a little? After all, looking at Arthas from the remaster, you can understand … what looks good, but you want more … that he was a direct copy of Vision Jaina from the Battle of Azeroth. I did not see Jaina vision of Arthas, stopped playing BFA before I got there. But in my humble opinion, and that all it is, I believe Arthas need to look a little more gritty.

The guy has trained with dwarf, and while he is not a battle veteran like Uther or Muradin, he still has some experience. The model at Blizzcon for me looked too clean and kinda plastic in expression. Gorgeous art however, but his face and expression did not do it for me. Adding some shaved beard on his chin ( like growing back?) would help. But that me, to each there own.

On the one hand, you are right, he should be rougher to look like he is not only a Prince, but also a Paladin … but the fact is that there … how to say, there are some details that can be fixed. Suppose the same hair he had, as if they were made of dough and do not look fair. Or the same faces of lions on armor, like a bit too much, although given the large number of skulls when he is a death knight, there is nothing surprising and it is probably worth getting used to. But it is also worth noting … shoulder pads, they seem to be from another universe, from Warhammer 40,000

The bfa Arthas has to replace the Reforged one it looks epic just like old Wc 3 one and is now the cannon look for WoW too, and Reforged one is just…an abomination

Id also add that his face as a deathknight could be improved from his model in WoW he has kind of a weak fat jaw makes him look less imposing which is also a complete and random shift from his human form

New Arthas looks good, but he could use a little rougher look, I agree with Balgus4 and Safiron on that. As for BFA Arthas, I don’t like him that much, he’s much better than previous WoW models of Arthas( no question about that), but Reforged looks way better to me, he just needs more details on his face and he’ll be the closest to how cinematic Arthas looked. I would mix Reforged version with this look:

Needs to be less… perfect and fine.
Nerfed shoulder pads would be welcome too. And in the later phases of the campaign he should get an angrier look. xD since he was angrier then.

haha… well, in a way he is kinda perfect in the beginning, a sort of fairytale prince, of course on the outside. He was strong, good to his soldiers and sort of a barbie’s price lol That’s why everyone adored him and that’s why his turn to the darkside was so impactful.
He was so damn perfect,nobody suspected that there’s something that could go very wrong with Arthas, and in the end even Uther and Jaina were fooled.

But since this is not going to happen,cause of 2 much pollygons,tehnology, considering its rts and senlesss to go insane quality: even if they hard try final result will be rough face very artistic ugly.

Thats why bfa cinematic when jaina talking with him would be best idea…

Ofc this not possible cause general tehnology and limitations of genre doesnt allow many things yet for gameplay, so this is why i would just go handpainted realism and not PBR cgi models for gameplay.

But this quality we can see actually in type of opening reforged cinematics trailer. Those model in cinematics will not happen again, cause reforge is cheap.
