In-Game Battle.net server laggy and issues

Hello,

There have been recurring problems with the SC:R in-game Battle.net all server lately.

Profiles and statistics aren’t loading, games aren’t scoring.

Creating and joining games + replays sometimes doesn’t work; you get stuck in the dialog.

This problem occurs for everyone.

Even though the game is now very old, it would be nice to continue to have a stable Battle.net.

Best regards, Lordfox

It’s the same crap on every server. Ladder search also breaks with an error pop-up.
Expect nothing, game is dead.

I had created a ticket: EU99618075 @ customer support but i think it needs to be checked from an devop or dev. Please Blizz fix that soon and keep us up2date here.

It seems to be a result of the latest Weekly Maintenance Schedule because the latest maintenance datetime is near to the break time since effect.

Thank you

Best regards, Lordfox

Similar server problems… Hello? Blizzard?

Some info that might or might not be useful for server maintenance staff/devs. It seems like when you start SC:R from the Blizzard launcher:

  1. If the game notifies you that it cannot download your settings or something (in StarCraft main menu), and you cannot see some of your gateway-specific gamerecord stats in the multiplayer menu screen (from where you can choose battle.net or LAN), then you usually can host online games on battle.net and perhaps have an easier time playing the game.
  2. If on the other hand the game succesfully downloads your profile/user/whatever settings at the StarCraft main menu or start screen and does show your gamerecord stats for the different gateways in the multiplayer menu, then you seem to not be able to host games for example on battle.net.

So it seems like there’s some kind of server connection issue between the back-end and other servers or something but this is just my layman’s guess. Either way, please fix this ASAP, this is the most critical issue plaguing battle.net at this moment, thank you for your understanding.

Perhaps a small correction to point 2.
If you notice no error notification in the main menu after launching the game, then you will not see your profile at the window for the selected gateway in the multiplayer screen. So somehow it has lost your profile, even though if you launch the game, and it notifies you that it couldn’t download your settings at main menu, you have your profile available in the multiplayer screen and you can select it and connect to the gateway that profile is linked into.

Also from what I’ve noticed is that along with other server issues that have popped up in the last couple of days, when you exit StarCraft from the main menu, you get the same bug/prompt about whether you want to exit the game before it has finished uploading some data, however this time lacking seemingly more data (2k - 3k KB’s.)

Check below the amazing blizzard answer about lags on europe region.

Your ticket has received the following response:

Hello,

In an effort to resolve these unexpected situations with the connection issues in your Battle.net Game, we’ve developed this extensive troubleshooting so that you can get back into your game as soon as possible!
To resolve any outstanding situations, we ask that you try the following steps outlined in these articles:

  1. Restart Your computer and Router/Modem: Sometimes, a simple restart of your networking equipment can resolve connection issues
  2. Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Make sure that your firewall or antivirus software isn’t blocking Blizzard’s games or services. You may need to add exceptions for Blizzard’s executables or ports
  3. Disable Background Applications: Close unnecessary background applications, as they might interfere with Battle.net Games. Check for any resource-intensive programs running in the background and close them before launching the game
  4. Flush your DNS cache and reset your network configuration. You can do this by opening the Command Prompt (on Windows) or Terminal (on macOS)
  5. Reinstall the Game: Uninstall the Game, restart your computer and reinstall the game. Corrupted installation files can lead to various issues, and a fresh installation might resolve the problem.
  6. Wired Connection: If you’re using a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection by connecting your computer or console directly to your router using an Ethernet cable. This can help rule out potential wireless interference issues.

Should any of the above articles not solve the on-going situation, please consider contacting your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for further troubleshooting, as they could provide more insight into these matters.
In the meantime, you can also take a look at our Game exclusive technical support forums where Developers and Players alike share their input on several situations that may be related to yours

This issue first occured like 2 weeks ago, how is it possible there is not even a statement saying they are working on this issue?
This remastered version has been a shortcoming since the beginning with all the cancelled initial promises, such as 2v2 ladder and now I can’t even play the game anymore.

On NA seems fine though.

Hello there, I have the same problem… I cant’t see the stats and often I am unable to open a game. And also the games seem to be a lot more laggy than usually!

Seems like today’s restart server has fixed the issue for a while, but now it’s just started occurring again

European region server still broken.
Most people began to switch to american server
