Stupid turtle game now watch rogue vs nice hundreds of spores and both players just turteling it was so boring I stopped watching completly.

Protoss armies have so much incredibly strong AoE and are so easy to control that it’s also OP in ZvP and not just TvP.
“let’s make it so that this race can just a move the other races and win not because it played well but because the opponent wasn’t maru, and even then he will get stomped by zergs who are worse at the game than him” great decision blizzard…

What?, it was a “turtle” game but a short one, you should have seen real turtle games that last at least one hour.
At least the better player, Rogue, is still in the tournament. I think those matches are okay until weak players start consistently beating top opponents.
Turtle games are how all the late games go. That’s why siege units exist. It’s called strategy

Those clowns are in serious need of some military-history education. The problem is that those clowns the first time that heard the word “Siege” is when SC1 introduced the SiegeTank.
Siege is used from antiquity in order to get hevily fortified positions (in strategic places). Things like Catapults, Trebuchets, Starvation, Ancient-Bio-warfare (throwing sick carcasses) or cutting and poisoning of wells) are nothing new.
Goba Foundation is ready to accept free of charge a big number of Terran/Zerg morons in the Accelerated Course in the Strategy of Sieging and Turtling.
Upon completion of this course the whine of Terran/Zergs will greatly diminish.

Uh, no. There are scrappy late games that have literally zero defender’s advantage and generally rely on mobility to evade since there is no defender’s advantage.
??? 12 worker start had literally nothing to do with that game, since stalematish late games in ZvP has existed since WoL, never forget BL Infestor vs Vortex where mass spores turtling was already a thing. The only thing 12 worker start did is to diminish early cheese, but it is offset by the more abundant harassment options and diverse timings you can do in LotV.

Wrong. 12 worker start pushed back the earliest timing of aggression, pushing back the timing of when you need defense, allowing for more greed, propelling the entire meta towards high economy (3-5 base) plays rather than 1-3 base low economy scrappy plays.
9 pool with gas was extremely deadly to a Protoss who opened on the low ground for example. Nowadays you basically never see a Protoss open on the high ground (in his main). He gets a natural completely for free, 100% uncontested in 99% of scenarios.
That’s because you are a dirty cheeser, all the standard players were playing with more drones.
or we were scrubs in bronze with no real concept of how to play the game, massing roaches and getting mad you could see them when they were tunneling.

What are you guys even talking about? When did Rogue play against Nice? Wasn’t he playing against Percival, Byun and Bunny - all of whom were Terran - on Thursday morning? And that was for GSL Code S. I don’t remember him doing any spore crawler forests or turtling against them in any of those games.
TvP was trash and Blizzard managed to destroy ZvP as well. Every single game is the same stupid Cannon Rush or turtle Air Toss. Protoss is literally destroying the game.

Watch more ZvP. Most pro zerg players are doing queen walks to the protoss’ 3rd base and killing it, and you say Protoss is broken? No race is broken, and none of it is Blizzard’s fault. It’s all about how the players play the game.
Spore forests can win games. At least, it did in Hots.
