Yeah. Just watched GSL today after an early out from work
Zest beat not just Dark but Maru on the same day. Game 7 at Pride of Altaris was an insane game to be honest. He cemented himself as the best Protoss in Korea now heading to Katowice. He is the Kingslayer indeed.

He plays the uh Der uuuuhhh deeerrr…the easy race! He has way less skill and should never even kill a unit that maru has!!!
^ Then why so unstable? Once he beats everyone, another 5 times he cant get to semis. Surely it is not because the race is weak
Tastosis put it pretty well in the cast, Zest does best when he is innovating new strategies that people haven’t seen before. Once it gets figured out, then he drops back somewhat.
Having said that, his lategame macro has improved quite a bit, which always used to be a real sticking point for him.
As for Maru vs Zest, Maru definitely didnt look his best those games, taking insane amounts of oracle damage etc.

as a zerg, that final game was painful to watch, and so was … the one where he wasted all the corrupter and then went roach, with a muta ling switch he woulda killed the stalker army…i forget exactly which game it was, but then he did do the muta thing the game after and won, and i was like HAH SEE !!
