As I understand the Zurg were originally going to be called Zurg, but it was changed on account of this toy story character named Emperor Zurg. Between these two, which do you like better?
Zerg is easier to type.
I like that it’s not the Toy Story spelling because it’s spell that way in the movie. It’s not that I didn’t like the movie, but it is its own spelling here. Some letters like “U” are used too much anyways. It looks classier with an “E”.

Zerg, because it’s what I’m used too. If they’d been called Zurg, I’d probably prefer that.
Zerg. The “e” has a more alien, xenomorph sounding to it.
