Zerg style for less micro oriented player

Hi there,

I wanted to ask a few questions, what would be a good unit composition for a more head on style of attack, for ZVZ ZVT ZVP.

I do find I enjoy macro and creep map dominance, I started cutting drones and my Lingbane harrass is very decent as I do find myself exploding bases and forcing my opponent to stay at his base, that being said, When I am faced with a mech or toss heavy push, my ability to dictate the fight goes to the grave.

I was looking at a lot of others in my elo and a lot of zergs stick to 2 bases add a third if need be, but they always engage at the 6-8 minute mark. But when I watched the higher leagues on stream, they mainly focus on spread and dragging the game out until broodlords and infestors are available, and begin picking away. I know there is a lot of depth of fundamentals to still improve on, and there are so many styles out there, I for one am not the kind of player that is very proficient at microing units, but I do enjoy the macro game. Is there a zerg style that involves a lot less micro, that I can use in matchups to climb through the diamond leagues and onwards?

You can play 3 base Roach/Raveger timing attacks, but bare in mind that of the three races, zerg are the most reactive and the least proactive so no single zerg style can be used in every matchup.

So what should be the main take away, A lot of these coaching videos are made by people playing zerg like it’s terran or toss, but I see what you mean, even the concept of the race is very adaptive, should I have every unit buidling built so that it may be available and keep eyes on the map to make counters that may arrive in time?

No, play only roach/ravager til diamond, if it gets countered, start sooking on here.

As a protoss player speaking. You zerg players really need to scout and react or you will be hit hard with my air unit timing attack

Considering bane nerf, roach ravager, then lurker, and speedlords.
