Why do you think zerg popularity dropped 3-4% from 2016? You think it has anything to do with the non-stop nerfs you’ve been giving?
Look at the queen, you buff aa range by 1, yet you nerf transfuse and tumour 69 freaking times just to revert the range!
What about infestor? You give burrow fungal neural and infested rockets, yet end up removing infested terrans and burrow fungal completely and give us an orange fart in return. You nerf fungal to no longer snare while still being much easier to dodge than emp, and then nerf neural range on top of it all!
You nerf broodlord yet buff thor aa 420 times, and you dgaf that broods are now an endangered species in zvt…
I’d never thought I’d be the one to make this type of thread, but it’s time for race switch or game switch. Let’s make zerg popularity even lower!

Zerg players have been able to compensate numerous nerfs with new strategies. Every zerg unit is pretty well designed and good at what it does. Microbial shroud should definitely be reworked though. I am yet to ever see it in game, or in pro play. Not once
Ya they’d rather nerf queen and infestor 69 different ways before removing the buffs that made them broken in the first place, just like with vr they’d rather stick with this version than rework pa, or keep gutted colossus rather than reverting nerf.
They don’t care. People whine because Serral wins tournaments so they buff Zerg in response. The race is so trash compared to what it used to be.

I am sorry. This is Nothing compared to the madness of 2019. Where core mechanics of protoss got nerfed because they started to all in every game because they dont want to Play that matchup at all. Nydus was completly Broken and lategame too.
Zerg Players dont have the right to whine yet. Only if they are Down to Silly one Trick ponies which get nerfed they are allowed to whine. Zerg is still a very solid race but it was obvious that they lose some powers. There is rarely a useless zerg unit and if You mass banes vs mech and stalker archon something is completly off. They are lucky to Keep the +2 one hitting probes. Some Pros are surprised that it wasnt Patched. Parting for example.
Why do you think zerg is massing banes every game instead of going late?
Both is Good. But why going lategame if You can stay t1 and rip t2 and t3 armies? If it gets to a real lategame stage with many carrier etc they tech up and Beat that too…
If you mean tech up as in turtling inside spore forests…

They dont actually do that much. Zerg lategame is very strong. Spore forest is an addition actually. Why wouldnt you sit in your bases (you have more than your opponent) with complete map vision and mobile static defense? Why risk to lose if you can secure the win? They NEED to attack into you.
They fact that zerg cannot kill protoss if they get x army w/o spore forests is the problem. You say they need to attack zerg, but that is not the case if protoss gets into a macro game on equal footing, then they can split map much better than zerg with recall.

We dont have enough matches to actually say that and in the matches that actually went lategame it didnt seem to be like that at all. Maybe on lower ranks. But on higher ranks you get toyed around if someone like reynor, serral, dark plays vs any protoss.
But yes one of the main problem is that we actually dont see lategame matches on equal footing because of the midgame. So we actually dont know the real standing in lategame. Thats correct.
At least we agree on something.
Dont be sad. Zerg is still a good race. The macro gods serral and reynor will still be gods. Even after all these nerfs. And that tell you something about the balance of the last years.
Have you seen skillous vs denver yesterday? they switched races and the outcome was pretty obvious while their offrace mmr are actually equal 
Blizzard hates zerg. No one is going to be able to play this race except Serral or Reynor.
ZvT is already very hard for zerg to play, now they are going to do the same with ZvP.
Also buffing protoss is very dangeorous. Protoss is very easy to play at the highest level. If protoss becomes strong, protoss players will flood the tournaments, and we will have a different protoss champion in every tournament.
