I left the forum to meditate on the balance and my conclusions are that :
ZvP and ZvT is always favor zerg.
TvP is favor Protoss and even more since the up of the battery shield.
I will propose a Patch Balance soon guys dont worry, i’m here.

ZvT is almost fine now, except Terran doesn’t have late game. But you can kill them now most imba units were nerfed. Only thing which is stupid are maps. IN hots you have even 3 - 2 player small maps with only 2-3 attack paths. Now every map is big open with 5-7 attack paths and 3 attack paths to third. While in hots you could wall one side with depots and second was close to your natural easily defensible. I feel maps and late game are only problem in TvZ now, it is much better than it used to.
Look last 5 months TvZ is sitting on pretty 50% with like 0.5 deviance, that’s pretty good right

Besides it is not fun to be on timer and just kill them before they get there. What if you like late game ?
Look at premier tournament winrates starting post patch last fall and tell me tvz is fine.
Didn’t know 57% winrate was balanced.

Maybe zerg players lost skill due, they played most imba race on the crutch. It wouldn’t surprised me. So many players got carried by their race. So one time Terran is doing good, also previous map pool was pretty okay for Terran. And already Terran is OP ? But last 3 years Zerg winning every tournament was fine. mkay…

the one time terran is doing good? let’s ignore all those GSL Code S terran has won in LotV, how many is it at now? 8? not to mention 2 of those were TvT finals. but yeah just one time you were doing good.
already terran has is OP? Terran is +53 in all major tournaments and premier tournaments combined since the patch last fall. in a total of 4 tournaments does zerg have a winning record against terran. in Korea its even worse, with zerg NEVER having a positive win-rate in korean premier tournaments in any tournament so far and the map score is 43-19 (nearly 70% winrate for terran).
The only thing making the numbers look even halfway decent is the two ongoing dreamhack tournaments where no koreans are participating and Special isn’t even playing in the American one (and yet all Zergs have already been eliminated from that one).
3 years ago would be 2017. zerg won 4 tournaments that year and 3 were won by rogue. Terran won 6 that year.

In Korea Terrans are 43-19 (Nearly 70% winrate).
In Premier Tournaments Terrans are 169-151 52.8% winrate (and 2 of those tournaments literally don’t have the best Terrans playing, and one is full NA, enough said there).
Overall Terran is 390-345 53% winrate.
show me again how you think Terran vs Zerg is Zerg favored? oh let me guess. you include scrub tier tournaments and ladder games. even blizzard thought the matchup was balanced before the last patch and then went ahead and nerfed zerg twice and buffed terran in the matchup.

So I Agree Zerg is OP, But I Disagree with most of what you said / how you went about it
ZvT - Zerg has a slight advantage due to Late game still being strong for Zerg
I Would have to agree with ppl like Valorant504 in terms of the Map Discussion.
I Personaly like to watch more of a over-all Skill level then who wins, Best Players tend to win as they make the most adjustments / Strats. I Think if we go ‘who won X Tourm’ is a dead end / Trap for skill level that ppl fall into.
but Hey people love that BS They love to only look at the Win and not HOW they won or such.
Terran is the best overall race,not a single unit is average or bad,protoss has some bad,average and below average units,zerg has a couple of really situational units which can turn into a very average units or bad when there is a bit of counter. T dos not have a really clear unit composition but the efficiency and powerful eco is there,mass pf,sensor towers,mules,siege units,nothing fancy but that is strong during lategame.
Lol. This is the stupidity that Zerg players will tell themselves. All Zerg players, all 100,000 of them, are just better, and that’s why they get more MMR.
It’s certainly not that it’s an easier race.

Terran are just represented more in low league because it’s harder to grind with terran than with eZergPz or with Pro toss
Incorrect, they have the highest percentage representation in every league except GM, where Protoss has the highest rep, and that’s only a difference of 2.4%

You can’t be “over-represented” in every league. You can be more popular as a race, but you can’t be over-represented.
