Okay, this definitely should become a meme in the Starcraft universe or beyond at this point.
Let’s see the facts:
- With Zagara, I saw my allocated mastery points reset, and I could allocate them properly before going into a mutation, so far, seemed to work as it should.
- Coming back from mutation, I see the mastery box blinking like I have unallocated points (even though I allocated everything and didn’t level up): the first bug where all allocated points were reset.
- If it had only been that, it would have been annoying, but it would have been easier to wait for it to be patched, just need to spend some time to reallocate every time but…dum dum dum, SURPRISE, the wrong allocation bug is back! Once again set 2 take points from set 3 and the other way around like before.
- Ironically, it may not be an issue, as every time I left the mastery box after that, it was blinking, and going back all allocated points would be reset again, so it would just remove completely the mastery bonus (didn’t try to start a game to check)
I know I may have joked in the past on how a whole new bug could replace the former Zagara Mastery bug, but it was just a joke you know? There was no need to take it as a challenge lol.
edit: according to a report I’ve seen in another thread, a restart can allow you to play with things fixed once again, then you need another restart again, and so on.
But then the good news is that those that liked the old mastery combinations (before any mastery change from 5.0) can still access them.
Doesn’t change the fact it’s all a bug.
