So if I play a game 1:35 min, I win 18 mmr ))), than I lose game of 5 min from a cheese I lose 33 mmr.
Just your opinion, are you fine on this?
I thinking only on the perspective that time is very important especially if you are working, family etc, blah blah.
When you win more than 1 hour game, if feels amazing, but if you get less than 17 mmr, kind of sucks, I could’ve play 3 games you know.
Just your opinion maybe you should get an extra 5 (5 if longer than 1 hour) or 10 mmr (10 longer than 1hr: 30 min) for a long game? So to feel a bit more rewarding, especially for the ones that are just getting in SC2. No?
Maybe push those back to 30 min and 45 min? Though at that point, you’d be rewarding players that play with their food in order to get the extra MMR.
It does seem annoying for people in GM tournaments who have to work a 30 min game for only +1 MMR or something.
That is true!
That could be a problem, but still.
i wish those tournaments would have a seperate tournament score… instead of just using ladder points. the way i see it is tournaments are just an annoying ladder match… there’s nothing special about it except for you have to wait for your opponent and sometimes they are so inconsiderate you don’t even play the match, the system is flawed and they’ve never made it better.
i stopped playing tournaments ages ago because it’s honestly, just another ladder match. i would LOVE it if there was a seperate tournament score you had instead of just using your ladder points… a reason to actually care about your score.

MMR should just be based off of win/loss, if you add anything it’ll mess with the system and it’ll screw up matchmaking IMO.

Terrible idea.
A loss or win is just that. Why should you get more points for beating the same level of player the same number of times?
