What is your greatest of all time top 10 player list. Has to be 3 at least for each race.
Not necessarily based on most prize winings, but maybe based on skill, talent, memorable performance, best comebacks, wining against all odds etc.

For the current players I agree! Especially the order. Probably I would put Dark or Raynor at 7 place.
Dark is weird, he is like a top 4 player is GSL for YEARS. It took zerg to be OP for dark to really shine. However, if Dark keeps doing well through these future patches, then he can be in the top 10.
Raynor is too new. He can only beat Serral because he studies him all the time. When he faced Dark, it was hilariously bad.
Even if it is not accurate, this is my personal Top 10.
Maybe you are right about Dark, he seems to abuse the nydus swarm op strat a lot.
My list is based on the beauty of their play when they were in their prime.
Not sure about the rest. But for me Serral is the best Starcraft player that has ever lived. I have not been that impressed by anyone since MVP was at his peak.

thats what i can think of. not really a ranking of who is better, since thats impossible to judge, but ranked according to my “skip class to watch him play” feeling.

I was earning a bachelors in chemistry, a masters in chemistry, and was in medical school for a large portion of anything other than LOTV. I’m sorry to disappoint.
well, i guess thats how things go. if your werent really THAT outstanding, you will be forgotten someday. also, there are many people, who started to play sc2 with lotv, since 10 years is a really long time in gaming.
i used to play wc3 before sc2 came out. only pros i can remember are guys like moon, zacard, grubby, tod or creolophus. and that just because they are really outstanding or are stll active.
I think both the past and present are important. If we didn’t have those legends in the past we wouldn’t have these legends in the present. The game wouldn’t be popular for so long.

I wouldnt put Serral in top 10, not by far. He got where he is on the back of current Zerg strenght and by abusing bugs in major tournaments with no consequences. And when push comes to shove, many ppl can beat him anyway.
