X.O.X.O achievement

Hi All,

Any tips on Stetmann’s X.O.X.O achievement? It seems to be incredibly slow, I’m barely overcharging 10-20 allied units per match.

:zap:Use healing overcharging. That’s basically all you need. If your ally has many units much better. If not, focus on workers mainly.

:zap:Always overcharge ally’s workers, they are many units, they are always crowded and you can always access ally’s base and ally’s expo easily.

:zap:Follow your ally everytime, use Super Gary’s special zone to place a satellite if there isn’t any nearby.

Repeat till you get the achiev. It doesn’t need to be done in a single mission so, it’s easier than other achievs.

It’s the last achiev I got and it was only bc I didn’t even read what I had to do. If I started doing it since I got to lvl 15 it would have been pretty fast.

You are likely to have had deployed Stetellites over your ally’s bases so overcharge the workers. During downtime in between attack waves and objectives, switch to blue zone to travel quickly and use overcharge. They are in one place all the time which is much easier than having to chase your ally’s army.

Another way is to defend Dead of Night (or clear most of it to make defense easier) and simply overcharge repeatedly on a mass of units huddled together at base until you get 2500. No time limit helps a lot so you don’t have to rinse and repeat per map. Will require a helpful partner though.

Wow, I went from 400 to 1400 in 2 games, then it took another 4 to hit the achievement. That was crazy.

personally i really hate achievements that are purely farming in nature, i much prefer the skill based ones like Dehaka getting to lv6 within 6 minutes

If you want to cheese this in one game you can look for someone to instantly leave a Casual Dead of Night game in coop chat. In the game you just make workers with your leaver ally (like 200) and overcharge Stetellites over a green field.

I got over 1000 overcharges in just one co-op match by using the following method:

  1. get gary skill cooldown reduction
  2. not getting any units in the mission, just micro your gary and spread stetellites
  3. keep your gary with your ally’s army(now you are a real support), keep overcharging stetellites for your ally, and switching mode for your ally
  4. when idling, you should overcharging the shield on your ally’s units, order your gary to shift attack each shielded units(gary will switch to next target after the shield is popped, but it occasionally fails, just be careful not to kill your ally’s units)

if you try this without your friends, try to tell your ally what you are going for. I tried once with my friend, and I did get over 1000 overcharged ally units, but we barely won the mission.
