Doublethink: Thought marked by the acceptance of gross contradictions and falsehoods, especially when used as a technique of self-indoctrination.
There are a million examples. Here’s just one.
Premier tournaments count for everything even though the region lock severely limits the best Protoss on Earth from even accessing the majority of tournaments:
But, small/medium sized tournaments are invalid because they are region locked:
Why do they adopt this ridiculous stance? Protoss dominate small/medium tournaments, winning the most of any race, while Protoss has won the fewest premier events.
Nevermind the fact that GM representation heavily favors Protoss at 45%.
Nevermind that Protoss has the highest win-rates in GM, Masters 1 and Masters 2.
Nevermind the fact that there is a 30% chance the entire set of finals in premier events for 2020 could occur assuming balanced conditions (and thus does not indicate imbalance).
Nevermind the fact that premier events are too few in number to have statistical significance.
Nevermind the fact that the outcome of premier events is controlled by factors other than balance (such as peak skill representation).
Nevermind the fact that a Protoss has taken 2nd place in total earnings for 2020.
Nevermind the fact that the event system was recently restructured towards more smaller events to give more pro players opportunities to win.
Nevermind the fact that of all the tournament earnings, Terran wins the least.
Nevermind the fact that many non premier tournaments have better skill representation & large prize pools than many premier events.
Premier tournaments winners and premier tournament winners ALONE are the ONLY valid balance metric because they confirm the PPP agenda and for no other reason. According to them, every other shred of evidence is completely irrelevant.
See my first post. Your semantics contortions won’t work with me and this forum.
BatZ, it is me Goba, i know you better than you know yourself.
Calm down and shut up.
Thanks for proving my point. You took, and I quote, “the region lock severely limits the best Protoss on Earth from even accessing the majority of tournaments” and converted that to “the region lock severely limits only the best Protoss on Earth from even accessing the majority of tournaments”.
It turns out that lies and misrepresentations only make you lose the argument! Who would’ve thought!
Yet more double think in action. Lmao. They can’t help themselves.
One zerg being higher in total earnings = zerg is imba vs Protoss
but
A Protoss being higher than ALL terrans in total earnings != protoss is imba vs Terran.
Hate to break to people, but a Random player probably understands the balance better than a one race specialist, and he’s probably more honest about the balance.
I havent said “zerg being higher in total earnings = zerg is imba vs Protoss”
Ok, to explain my little joke to you: protoss being second in total earnings means they are op. but being first in earnings means therefore being more op. i conclude: zerg is more op
Np, np for explaining. I guessed that you dont have the brains.
Hope our Trumpster will understand his ridiculous position. Knowing BatZ he will not be ashamed from this debacle but in the best tradition of FaltEarthers will double-down…
I am just laughing at how you cried He miSRepReSeNTeD mE when I added “One” to your sentence, even though you were referring to the singular Zerg in first place who is, by definition, ONE zerg.
