Why was feedback nerfed?

what was the reason for the feedback nerf? because to me it just seems like a weaker version of ghost snipe

The stated reason was because of how HT were disproportionately strong against ghosts, which isn’t the case anymore. With the EMP buff, feedback could definitely be rebuffed as it would give stronger counterplay to absurdly strong units like vipers and infestors.

Not only against Ghost. 1 HT completly shuts down Terran drop, can kill multiple Zerg spellcasters and Zerg without spellcasters … everybody knows.

Stalkers already out perform HT. I wouldn’t say that Protoss drop defence is made strong because of feedback.

Historically snipe was considered equal to feedback. With snipe redesigned that left ghosts at a disadvantage against HT.

If a terran is not able to manage the energy in Medevacs (like Zergs with Overseer) they deserved to lose them.
In Plat and above, no terran had 200 energy medevacs droping their s.h.i.t…
It was a way to address the terran “frustration”, just like the nerff of Observers.
The FB drop to insignificance caused partially the Infestor/Viper dominance in PvZ where the P had no way of keeping their numbers down…

P.S. In high-level play Medevacs had 20-30% energy just like Queens. Rarely you saw FB’ing Queens due to the small damage for 50 Eenrgy (FB).

**A way to redesign FB would be to turn it into a non-lethal spell! Make it cause not 0.5 damage for 1 energy, but 2 damage for 1 energy up to 5HP. **
The FB’ed unit will survive with 5HP.
I guess our terran friends will support this my proposal that is the same as their BS about…EMP does not kill…

I think that’s a nerf for the older iteration of FB.

LUL, all terrans discovered that they have some prior appointments and disappeared from this thread.
Considering that FB is single-target ability and not AOE with 80% buffed Area of Effect (Actual EMP)…
It’s so rewarding to smear with bull their pretty faces (the same bull that they have given us in the meme: “EMP does not kill”)!
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Maybe you dont know but Medivac has 150 Hp and not 200! So its was enough to send them near Protoss base and let them there, and send in when you fight in the middle of map as distractions. And 1 HT shutted this down! Not couple Stalkers

Why you did not whine to Blizzy to bring the Energy of Medevacs to…150?
Lol, Templar has 200 energy and how much HP?
What about Infestor?

Nice to see here somebody replying to his own post. Looks so arogant. Simply ignore all other facts and just push out own shyts on forum. Go and play other races

You can’t impress Goba too much with those “arguments”.
What do you think about “Goba’s” non-lethal Feedback?
(Your Feedback is greatly appreciated).

The infamous 1 HT shutting down all of Terran’s drops by itself. One of my favorite urban legends. I always make sure my lights are on when reading about the high templar. Absolutely horrifying stuff.

It was nerfed due to incredible terran tears, like almost anything that gets nerfed.

Some dbag here claims feedback was “too strong” for a cheap unit like the HT, yet EMP is somehow ok on the ghost, which is cheaper and much lower tech than a science vessel, and no research needed!

Unless you want to use its new OP buff, but if terran players cry enough blizzard will probably add that in without research.

Khan Effendi! What is dbag? I guess a compliment and a way to appreciate our terran friends?
I can’t understand that good word (dbag), English is not my first language…

I’d like to posit my own legend. I have 4 cannons and stalkers at my mineral line and ONE measly liberator comes and shutsdown my entire mineral line until I can make a tempest or something and then wait for the snail to snail on over there.

Basically, I don’t get to mine for, you know, about 5 minutes due to 1 liberator. So, clearly, the solution is for stalkers to have 30 range and 30 vision, so it now becomes pointless to ever make a liberator.

Balanced. You’re welcome. This story I presented, unlike the high templar, is one that actually has happened before. In fact, nearly every game.

I didn’t even bring up the scariest legend of them all… the widow mine. There’s children reading these forums, you know?

It takes over 2 minutes of not healing any damage for a medivac to get that much energy. That’s a lot of AFK time for the medivac, and assumes the high Templar just happens to be there.

The problem is blizzard is used to introduce small buffs to deal with problem that require big buff, but when they finally understand it and do the big buff they don’t withdraw the small buff, so it remains on the game for no real reason, and then you have plently of things that make no sense because the reasons of their presence have disappeared…

Clearly those are scenarios that happen in Bronze League Heroes. But any BS is ok when a protoss nerff is requested…
