Link please?,thank you.

This is the biggest issue. I’ve never seen balance get so bad that the activity for a race declined this much. With the way they’re treating the game if Frost Giant can come up with a game even remotely close to sc2 this game is dead.

They will punish zerg more. Saying zerg have to many gm. And not enough silver. So more people demoted to silver. And switching races. And zerg will still be least in silver. And will be punish more. Until 0% gms are zerg…

Trolls will say it’s because Serral wins tournaments. Nobody cares. People care about their own game experience and Serral (& other premier tournament winners) have absolutely zero relevance to that. If you’ve lost 50 games in a row you literally don’t give a crap if some guy somewhere won a few games.

Just look at all the Protoss who will swear up down and sideways that Protoss is underpowered despite Trap just beating Serral.

So protoss overtook zerg in a period where the ballance favored zerg?
Doesnt this mean ballance is not a factor to any of this?

The Aiur conspiracy, Protoss looked weak on the surface but in reality they were strong AF.

Z population has been declining at the same rate sine 2016 so it’s not just a balance thing, T pop is about the same, so Z is the only race that loses players.

Well everything goes in cycles. If you didn’t have the era with all those toxic EU zergs for a few years. There was one year i think there was almost 8 EU Zergs going to blizzcon. It was terrible.

That never happened, or anything even close to that. No race has been as dead as Zerg is right now. This has nothing to do with tournaments, it’s about the player base.

The race popularity is declining, but unless you find some ways to make the race more interesting it will continue the current trend, even if you buff the race the overall feeling will be the same, numbers of GM will rise, the overall population will stay the same. I really like the race but it can be really boring compared to the other races, Z is basically 40% dronning, 30% creeping and the rest is unit related, you don’t have to simcity your base, you cant micromanage a lot of things until lategame while T and P has to do builds, sim city and multitask during early, and their types of units are more interesting, Z units are lame compared to P and T units, you don’t have lasers, ships, bullets, you just have sad hidralisks and amover units, the nicer unit Z has is probably the muta and its use is greatly reduced by enemy’s defense.

Yes it did. 2017 or 2018 or maybe 2019. Just an obnoxious amount of EU Zergs at Blizzcon.

Not true. The nerfs are the main reason Zerg numbers are dropping so heavily. Any time there is a strong strategy for Zerg it gets nerfed but the same isn’t true for Terran and Protoss.

Blizzard has forced Zerg to constantly defend and be a punching. It’s a difficult and unfun way to play the game and lots of people have stopped playing as a result.

Sinc 2016 the race loses players at the same rate, at GM yes, it fluctuates more as the numbers are smaller and patches affect more the numbers.

P is the race that got more nerfs due to their cheesy nature, most of the nerfs were caused by some kind of early-mid strat.

Yes, the way Z is designed is to be a passive early race, if you allow Z to have some kind of sucess during early then you enter in all in territory while the other races have few units and tools and Z units are numerous and with good base stats, Z has no expensive and fast unit such as oracle, banshee, hellion, lib, phoenix…that can be made during early, the just have cheap and massable units,Z cool toys come during lategame.

Protoss did not get more nerfs. They got some nerfs after 4.0 because it was a massive buff overall, but the nerfs they got were nowhere near as significant.

This view only tells you the number of teams placed but the activity of Zerg has gone down drastically since the latest patches. This season especially Zerg is way less active on ladder.

A race that is underpowered loses more than it wins. That causes representation to go down in the higher leagues, not up. If protoss representation was going up, it can’t have had negative win-rate but rather a positive win-rate. With a positive win-rate it, by definition, can’t be called underpowered but rather overpowered.

When your argument is reliant on literally inverting the definitions to words, your “argument” is utter trash.

This is enough to relegate this troll to the dustbin of SC2.
MSC, unit that firing on 4 Pylon on full energy (200) causing 2500-2750 active damage, having decent Recall (not this joke that lasts 4 seconds and recalls 4 Stalkers) removed from the game.
Relpacement were SB that actually cost 100 mineral each and you should build 8-12 in order to remotely absorb damage and increase the Protoss army firepower to the single MSC!
The troll speak about buffs.
What buffs? Stalker that due to whine was reverted? Carrier that is the shade of the former self?
Zealot that suffered a huge nerff in the most important aspect (damage on impact)?
Chrono that was nerffed?
15 Upgrades that were delayed just because Terran/Zergs don’t bother to upgrade timely themselves?

Just put this scumbag out of his misery!

2019 blizzcon, or 2018 and 2019 premier tournaments, yes zerg was not overpowered at all.
