No, they aren’t, at least not in sc2.
And ask anyone if mutas are aoe, they’ll tell you they’re not. It’s like trying to argue that chain lightning is aoe, it simply isn’t.

Both Mutas and Chain Lightning is AoE.
Do yourself a favour and stop talking. You’ve already embarassed yourself enough.
No, my friend, you are. You just want Zerg, the most advantaged race by far, to now have the tools the other races have, but to also retain those they are missing.
Imagine being a gold level terran complaining about balance not knowing what aoe is.

Notice how things are labeled aoe, then mutas are labeled “deals less damage to two subsequent enemies”.
Or a 2 second google search.

Once again, stop talking before you embarrass yourself any further.
I play Protoss, but…
Ok Boomer!
Doesn’t matter really, another sh it level player that doesn’t even know what aoe is trying to comment on balance.
Ok, Boomer.

There’s a non-zero chance OP is talking about this.
This is a “swarm guardian” According to the sc2 editor. Its only appearance is in the lost Viking mini game.
Just give zerg teleporting flying units; so that they will shutup about bc’s already.
yes that’s exactly what im talking about, I had found it when making custom games and made it into basically a zerg battlecruiser. it even has a battlecruiser like attack already, it just takes a few small changes to make it into a multiplayer unit.
Swarm Guardians can’t attack air. But I would love to see a mutalisk evolution.
on the other side protoss has 4 air units that can attack air units, while terran has 3 and zerg 2 if you exclude the spellcasters
