Not broken even at pro levelwas broken during blord infestor or that imbalisk period, now it’s just strong, but nothing you can’t beat if you play better. In diamond, as terran, you can play mech if you can’t handle bio, mech is way easier and effective, hard to make mistakes when all you have to do is macro and press the siege button and wait the Z to make mistakes. and with protoss, having a good defense helps a lot, and zealot runbys.
Right now the game is on a pretty decent spot, on the past you sometimes felt you had to do always X to scrap some wins, now almost everything works and just a few units on the game are bad or rarely used, you can play with any race and in a long game you can make every single unit and it will work, even tempest (sometimes).
Zerg in general, or Serral and Reynor?,because only three Z reached the last phase and they are two of the best players right now competing for the 1st place on Aligulac rankings, Risky is Z and ended 0-4. Serral most of the time will make the opponent look like silver, he is the best right now.
Cheapest? Lings vs Marine… Roach vs Stalkers… Hydralisk vs Tanks… Mutalisk vs Oracles… Ultralisks vs Battlecruisers (this is particularly hilarious)… No single Zerg unit is good by itself, they has the most expensive units in the game and the worst too.
Zerg map control requires TONS of apm, burrowed lings, sacrifice population cap, expand creep… Compare it to move an observer in minimap or mindless spam of scans of Terran… Zerg has the worst map control.
Zerg macro is BY FAR the hardest because you can die against 6 marines or 3 zealots if you try to do the things as you as supposed to do. If you produce workers you will die because you have no units, if you stop producing workers in order to defeat an agression, you will lose a bit later due to lack of economy… In addition, Zerg has no static defences and are forced to waste population and mineral in Queen in order to not be behind so is the race with the lowest population cap because of Queens.
The only advantage of Zerg is that most of people has never played Zerg and really has no idea of how to manage a game against them. We can’t win using a single unit like Terran with BCs, we can’t harrass, we can’t be aggresors without doing <50% chance win all-ins, we can’t turtle, we can’t decide our unit composition… SC2 Zerg is an incomplete race. The worst design in RTS ever.
Oh look, you were wrong. What a shocker. Protoss having 0 problems with Zerg just like last GSL. 3 Zergs have been eliminated and no Protoss have yet in the RO16. Not surprising at all.
Maru loses to Cure, Trap and Solar but somehow only Zerg is OP.
Try having some sort of argument when you whine next time.
its like talking to a child. You have no idea what im saying. In macro games zerg just run away with them unless critical damage is done in the beginning.
Literally showed you a gsl game where the zerg was up workers and bases over protoss in all 3 games.
No point in arguing with you. Its a most basic of basic concepts of the game. Harass zerg to slow them down, or they take the whole map and win easily.
Maybe thats why you think zerg is difficult… cant even grasp that concept.
Your own list refutes the idea that Zerg has the most expensive units.
Correction, most of Zerg’s APM comes from training units, particularly Zerglings.
Bio’s APM is similarly inflated by its production compared to Protoss and mech.
How often is this actually a thing, and why do you think that pressing a button to burrow and pressing a button to unburrow later is hard work?
That is an exploit that Zerg can do, but it is not required to play the race and it doesn’t make up a significant portion of any player’s APM.
This is the one thing that you are right about, but it’s still comparable to other tasks such as Warp-Ins (which require more input and attention than normal production) and making a bunch of extra production and supply buildings.
Zerg has the best map control and scouting of any faction:
Zerg has the fastest army in just about every match-up for most of that match-up’s length. This only changes if Zerg switches into Brood Lords.
Zerg has the advantage fighting on open ground (most of the map), such that Terran and Protoss have to wall in order to survive against Zerg in the early-game. Protoss and Terran typically cannot fight Zerg in the open until they have several important upgrades, tech units, and/or their army has passed a certain critical mass.
Zerg gets free vision and movement speed from Creep Tumors and the option to use their abundant overlords to scout incoming attacks.
Spine Crawlers and Spore Crawlers are superior to most other turrets. Spore Crawlers are the toughest turrets by far with decent DPS, and Spine Crawlers have a DPS advantage over Photon Cannons.
Queens double the production capacity of Hatcheries, so they are well worth teh cost.
And every other game that has ever been played. You are the biggest troll on the forums. Along as the biggest idiot. There is no point in arguing with stupid. So peace out.
literally other terran fans were admitting how bad maru played, and tvz right now in korea is 24-14 in terrans favor, and terran already has 3 in the round of 8.
