nope just not ignorant to what happens to video games that are out of development and have been that way for close to five years now. you think this is the first online game ive seen things like this happen to, no, not the first and not the last. if you dont like how blizzard does things or the problems with the game now, you should just find another game to play and stop your crying.
And every time you back the big corporation, congratulations! Is it hard to get their taste out of your mouth when you spend all day defending them in every single thread?

Unfortunately, it’s still being worked on. There’s no fix as of yet.

well, ill take this as a compliment, but to be clear i was only wrong on a like 1 thing out of the hundreds of post about this bs that has been going on. and i have only been repeating what has been said by leviathian mostly just cause theres too many post coming in and some ones gotta do it. also, i like the drama that occors, it gives me a good laugh, so theres that too. but thanks anyways

6 months with no fix sounds like they aren’t even working on it. There is absolutely no reason why the unfunded community can come up with various ways to fix the problem but a multi-billion dollar company owned by an even larger company cannot. They have endless resources but choose not to use them.
Considering what’s at stake, how it was being exploited and how it can be fixed while impacting the legit content the least amount possible, it’s fairly obvious that it’s not a simple fix.
I know of changes that were intended to go live but were cancelled just before rolllout due to problems in testing, all without the public overly knowing.
So added all together, just because you don’t personally see the work, it doesn’t mean nothing is being done.
If you mean giving the source code out to the public to ‘fix’, it’s proprietary code. Bliz isn’t going to release it out to the public so that any random person with unknown motives can do what they will.
And if you mean the various spitballing suggestions that have come and gone over the months (such as perma disabling all video, disable injections, etc), none of those are viable solutions due to the widespread impact they would have on the legit creators and content.
So once again, just because you can’t see a reason doesn’t mean there isn’t one.

Except for the few players who were able to upload maps, the rest of the players suffered significantly. Perhaps the one who started this situation has won.
Maybe he’s telling this story somewhere while drinking a beer. I think anyone who listens will find it amusing.
Like most players here, I paid for this game and have been playing it ever since. From Wings of Liberty to Legacy of the Void, some of you may have even purchased Nova: Covert Ops, Co-op Commanders, and War Chests. lol
the only players that were able to upload was pretty much everyone on the one single day they enabled it to test if it was fixed, it was then shut back down a few hours after. So this whole " only a select few" thing your going on about never existed. no one can publish since they shut it down again after testing.
Its been 7 months, its not getting patched, its not getting fixed. Even if it ‘‘maybe’’ is, its too late. Move on to unreal 5 boys. SC2 Arcades dead, and so is sc2 galaxy editing, take it from a 16 year galaxy editor veteran, since you can no longer create content for it, you should just leave, and take your sc2 skills with you and migrate them to platforms that will allow you to continue creating content, like unreal 5 does. Unlike blizzard.
You cant make artists who make 3d content daily new fresh 3d models every single day sometimes many models per day to wait 7 months and realistically expect them to stay, not even hard core 16 year veteren super editor mega sc2 fans like me. I waited paitently for 6 months, my fanatism made me stay the 7th month. But no more.
Its depressing, I know, but the multiplayer skirmish is full of mmr farm bots and the arcade is un arcade-able and un updateable, maps that hard code crash at start up due to needing patches cant be fixed and projects like mine cannot be continued.
