Terran is objectively the strongest race. TvP favors Terran substantially if you have eyes(and aren’t Avilo or his fanboy(s)). TvZ is now quite terran favored as well.
That being said, why are the rich getting richer? Why is toss getting some garbage micro intensive, situational buff when the mothership is still trash? When voids are still 4 supply??? When sky Terran is stronger than skytoss? Tempests blow, Carriers get destroyed by many different compositions(including tier 1 units that dont even need to be microed).
When will protoss have a chance to compete in ESL? Year 3 maybe???
Agree on all counts except this. TvP is fine and the buff to widow mines will affect TvZ much more than TvP. Not to mention the PvZ balance changes that are actually not that impactful for PvZ but will be absolutely enormous in TvZ. This is 100% a stealth (or not so stealth) massive Terran buff patch.
nah, from what I have seen before, invisibility mine harass can win game for T in a TvP. It is not even that rare for it to occur. Mine was very OP in TvP and this buff patch is giving back a portion of that power to the mine.
lulwut? certain matchups are much less balanced in gold. because the game is balanced with the top in mind. have you tried playing pvt in gold? you literally dont have to do anything but make chargelots.
Literally that change was made 100% designed to make TVP even easier on Protoss at the lower levels. Not professional Protoss player had little enough dignity to complain about it, and even at the time, they all admitted that Terran was disadvantaged outside of Korea.
Terran is getting another patch in their favour because they complained the most. There’s no other reason. Terran is getting a TvP buff because they “felt” economically behind and TvZ changes are happening despite the balance team stating that the matchup was in a good state… so what’s the logic? How do you buff a strategy that already flat out wins games based on the “feeling” of Terran whiners? In none of those matchups Terran needed any help from the balance team but the power of Terran tears is really something else.
They’re getting a buff because blizzard has no idea what to do with protoss. They’re trying their fourth or fifth iteration of a nexus ability no one wants. In their efforts to improve the game they always fall back on buffing terran, only this time they disguised it as protoss buffs. I don’t see how any of the zerg nerfs affects PvZ more than TvZ. Even creep clearing
This person has a brain. Blizz seems to think that reinventing the way toss plays every 2 years is the way to balance them. Even though terran has been 1-1-1ing since WoL. How about balancing the units??? Adepts, mothership, voids, stalkers, carriers could all use a buff. Perhaps even the Colossus
Terran always complains about eco and expos even though they have orbital mineral hacks. They could easily expand at the same rate as toss with a slight meta shift.
