For zerg worker scout is bit more expensive, as he builds more workers at the same time. While for terran worker start delays only cc about 3 seconds, i explained it in my other post = 99 mins by the time your 3rd cc is fully saturated, which is nothing. But since zerg could have made than 1 drone, that would be mining about minute sooner and than another and so on… Which is still not biggest deals, but it is much more expensive. I didn’t count this and you would have 2nd natural = closest mineral patches so instead of 40 per min one worker delivers 60. So it could actually make like 300 difference i am guessing now, when your third is fully saturated.
And yeah Terran in TvZ has no good base all ins except proxy 2 rax, but that can be scouted with overlord half of the time and they usually hold microing drones.
ZvP not sure in case like 2 proxy gate, but cannon rush you make fast second overlord and send that over your natural.

So zerg not only has to be harassed by every other race with no feasible counter-harass other than ling run-by…

They can’t afford to send 1 drone to scout because it would cripple them.
Sounds like zerg is poorly designed.
It’s simply way too expensive except maybe around close proximity proxy locations. It’s usually cheaper to just open pool first. Zergs wouldn’t keep dying to proxy 2/3 rax if scouting were an option.
Hey, a stopped clock really is right twice per day (as long as it’s about a disadvantage Zerg has).
So why does zerg have this massive disadvantage? Zerg already has so many massive disadvantages in the early gmae.

Because they don’t need to. Literally the only reason. They used to drone scout and will drone scout on 4 player maps, but on two player maps there’s no need. It’s not about ‘helping zerg get ahead’ its just pointless when overlords can do the job for you and just as effectively.
Zergs that do drone scout have a delay in their build, but they aren’t ‘behind’ by any reasonable margin.

28% is a lower rate of winning tournaments than either protoss or terran have had in the past 2 years.

If you expand to include major and even minor events, you see that the Terran and protoss haven’t dipped below where Zerg is currently at.
Last year after almost 2 years of utter Zerg domminance: Let the meta settle.
This year when numbers dip under 1/3rd at one of the statistics: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
If you are going to cherry pick only the events where zerg win, then I can make the same argument but by cherry picking only the events where terran wins. Your argument says both Terran and Zerg are OP.
