Yo guys focus too much on GM ladder numbers, and that’s totally wrong, if you want to see balance data, you must go to aligulac and then the specific balance data from specific tournaments, and then checking the VODS.Just see EU top 10 gm ladder, 2 accounts are from showtime and two from heromarine, there is also two barcodes that are probably other pro smurf acc.
They buffed Terran the last 4-5 patches before that… especially the last one when they were already in a fantastic spot.
We have ONE patch without a flat buff to Terran and the TCF lose their mind.

if in match between equal elo chess players, white wins more, and black “lagging”, this is balance issue.

I’m already diamond 3, almost diamond 2. 75%-ish versus mid-diamonds. Only lost to proxy marauders, a fairly well executed canon rush and a proxy hatch roach ravager all in. Still going strong

Terran has been buffed way up in the last few patches. This patch they are trying to make 2 of the most useless units in the whole game actually playable and the TCF loses their minds. Absolute insanity.
Terran is by definition easier to play.
You have alot of allrounder units T1 that scale well and basically softcounter everything, free initiative with your opener, MMM/tanks/mines/libs/BCs work against literally everything and you have the better caster in lategame with Ghosts (in TvP, PvZ templar is better 100%).
Toss works alot around really specific units for specific usecases, have a point at which gateway units don’t scale anymore, have a caster lockdown in TvP and DPS problems with bigger armies.
In general Toss is way more fragile, so less forgiving, and way less straight forward.
Especially in early game (pre 8 mins) or lategame (caped out).
This all makes terran (on higher levels at least) easier than toss overall.
“Dominating Grandmaster.” Grandmaster really pays the bills. The very definition of pro gaming, receiving zero monies ever.
Just thinking about all the great players in GM. The Ruffs, the no hotkey zergs, the all-in every game players. To overcome such great talent, it really is a testament to how strong a race is.
In seriousness, most people in GM are simply there cause it’s an arbitrary number that is too big given the current popularity/player base of the game. GM being 100 players per region and only referencing numbers to ranks that actually correspond with needing to be a pro gamer to be “x rank” would mean way more.
And, even then… what race is known as the gimmicky race? The race that benefits the most from best of 1’s? Protoss. The fact that Protoss has ever had stages of not dominating the latter is a true testament to how BAD the race is. If we’re not winning tournaments but “dominating ladder,” don’t worry… it’s not magic. It adds up like everything else does.
Protoss gm think if protoss does not pay bills then protoss is not strong… this is the nonsense of protoss players… ape speak fewer words of nonsense…
Yet protoss dominate the gm leagues all over the planet! You say terran was buffed… you speak nonsense…
