It’s called Doom-Annihilation and was produced in 2019. I am watching it right now. You can find it in sites that stream movies for free.
It wasn’t if you knew Doom. They shouldn’t have even called it Doom3. It didn’t even have the double shotty in it.
Trust me, I wasted 50 dollars or however much it cost back then. That’s why I didn’t buy the one in 2016. Knew it was going to be bad. Was dead within 2 weeks. From what I saw going by the twitch numbers and so on.
Now maybe it’s about nostalgia of when we were young and Doom/Doom2/Wolfenstein were creating standards in that genre (just like SC/BW/WC). Do anybody played Heretic/Hexen those times long gone?

Well, I guess this is true, ever since you came here, at least.
Bit brave of you to come out and say you only scored 80 in the IQ tests
Kid when I was 10 I had the test results of an average 17 year old. I am a genius that occurs in, like, one in every 10,000 people. When you were 17 you were crying on a dead video game’s forum about how Protoss isn’t OP, despite merely being able to read a graph proving you completely and utterly wrong.

I am a genius that occurs in, like, one in every 10,000 people.
LUL. This “genius” is selling too cheap his geniality. Top of 10 000 people is not that big deal to warrant the “genius” appellative.
Example: the word “genius” can be used to describe Stephen Hawking or Grigori Perelman, but such people are in the rank of 1 in 10 000 000 or 50 000 000.

Normies are people that don’t play SC2. Moron. Normies play the MOBA games that you slinked off to
Nah SC2 normies are slightly below the DOTA/MOBA normies in IQ. That’s why this place is so incredibly infamous for its irrational balance whine and flaming.
This forum doesn’t even represent the SC2 community, yet they thought anyone is listening to them. it is like the ghetto of SC2 community, where the streamers correctly call it ’ field trip’ because you are in a field of mentally challenged protoss posters. I mean… their assumptions about how terran play their race was dead giveaway

Your parents have lied to you, so you would feel better about all the other children advancing faster than you.
It is OK, you already confessed to having 80 IQ, so I believe you are now living with the fact that you are a horrible burden to society.
At least you know.

Standardized testing doesn’t lie. Do you know how standardized testing works, scale scores, stanine scales, etc?

Dude you’re just another nomufftotuff. He pretended to be a professor of statistics and use all sorts of big and fancy phrases that he copied/pasted from wikipedia. At one point in time he said that the sum of dependent bournouli variables is not hypergeometric, thus proving he was full of it. I half suspect you are him, just LARP’ing as a chemistry grad this time.
I would say the most likely scenario is that:
- this guy you talk about probably had a PhD in statistics
- This threatened Batz intellectual insecurities
- Batz tries to exclaim he’s a LARP’ing statistician to trick himself into believing he’s the most intellectual of all the land by dismissing his credentials in any way possible.
Am I hitting the nail on the head?
the 05 game wasn’t too bad, but it wasn’t much rip and tear the way the first ones were rip and tear. The 2016 game was rip and tear, and the 2020 took it to a new level of RIP AND TEAR

This forum doesn’t even represent the SC2 community, yet they thought anyone is listening to them
There are nuances but mostly the same. For example SC2 normies on Reddit will pummel you in downvotes if you even point out, for example, apetoss is dominating GM. Not a single one of them can understand basic statistics, reading graphs is challenging for them as is reading comprehension, and there is virtually no correct logic to be found in their “reasoning”. They’re every bit as biased and low IQ, they just express it in a different way.
SC2 has a tremendous density of dunces, and that’s saying a lot for the video game realm which is typically filled with low IQ but high reaction skill people. SC2 just takes all the negative aspects of gaming and puts it on steroids. Research shows that SC2 inhibits your brains ability to regulate impulsive thoughts. So good luck trying to problem solve on any IQ test as your train of thought is constantly derailed by the APM spam your brain is trying to do.

the streamers correctly call it ’ field trip’ because you are in a field of mentally challenged protoss posters
Well those streamers are pretty mentally challenged too to be fair. They think acting excited towards a microphone means they are dope. They will get a bit of money from youtube for awhile, then the game’s popularity will dip some more, and reality will hit them like a sack of bricks. They will go from making money as they sleep to making a fourth as much working 40 hour work weeks. It turns out that yelling at a microphone about video games isn’t exactly a very useful life skill. Good luck transitioning your following to a new game - if you can’t, it’s time to get a real job.

this guy you talk about probably had a PhD in statistics
Uh, no. To have a PhD in statistics you have to be able to understand basic statistics. All this guy did was quote wikipedia. When I’d ask him questions he’d ignore me (much like you did) so I had to bait him into thinking I made a mistake to get him to engage, and when he did it showed he had literally no clue what he was talking about. It’s a common strategic move. You have to bait a defensive player to be aggressive by dangling a weakness in front of them, such as showing them a mistake, then you make up for the weakness through superior strategy in later stages of the “game”. You basically exchange a mistake for them to abandon their defensive posture.
I wasn’t the only other person who came to this conclusion by the way. The first that comes to mind was Flack, another was VichelChaos. Flack’s conclusion was much less kind than mine was. He said that the guy not only couldn’t understand statistics, but that he couldn’t stand the fact that I did understand them, so he felt compelled to troll and derail my threads out of pure jealousy & spite.
He also had a literally identical “debate” style to Anesthetic. He would ignore points, would always stay on the offensive, would always deflect with personal attacks. So yeah it was Anesthetic LARP’ing as a professor of statistics.
I keep playing this game cuz in 10 %^& years there still hasnt been an RTS game released that is better than is, its really annoying.

Am I hitting the nail on the head?
Here you go, a perfect example:
You are basing your confidence calculations on a completely bogus variance. The maximum variance of a binomial distribution is N / 4 which in this case is 62,500 games. The acceptable tolerance Blizzard has set is +/- 5% which in this case is +/- 12,500 games which is a fifth of the maximum variance (0.25 / 0.05 = 5).
He was whining that the sample was too large for a 5% variance, which is obviously wrong if N / 4 = 62,500 & N * 0.05 = 12,500. The variance Blizzard was using is close to 5x smaller than the variance he was calculating for. He was saying a 5% variance must have meant Blizzard was using a much smaller sample than a typical day’s worth of ladder games.
So he made a very basic error in calculating the expected variance of win-rates. This is just one of the easier to understand errors that he made. But I don’t expect you to understand any of this.
And this isn’t complicated either. The formula for calculating the variance is:
n * p * (1 - p)
The variance peaks at 0.5, and there are typically 250k ladder games/day:
n * 0.5 * (1 - 0.5) = 62,500
Blizzard was using +/-5% aka 250,000 * 0.05 = 12,500. So Blizzard’s acceptable variance is well below the maximum variance of a balanced game for that sample size. So he was wrong on some VERY basic math.
Furthermore he assumed that win-rates are a completely random process with p=0.5, which they are not. There are map pool and meta fluctuations. There are biases introduced by the ladder itself, which tries to optimize for a 50% win-rate. Etc, etc. So he was using a basic statistical test, saying Blizzard must have been using a smaller sample, despite the fact that they clearly said they were using an entire day’s worth of ladder games, while ignoring that the ladder behaves more like a Lotka–Volterra system than a truly random process.
When you consider this, it makes perfect sense that a 5% variation in the win-rates was acceptable. His test was basically showing a 5% win-rate over that sample would have an incredibly low P-value and therefore could not be an acceptable tolerance for balance, but that’s assuming it’s a completely random process which it is not.

It is why when a streamer even rotti act important on me at my expense, they will find they are standing on a thin ice with what makes them great
batz, still here? wasting your time talking to low iq people? you must be above that right? … give me a break you buffoon… stop. pretending. to. be. smart.
you waste all your time at a computer screen trying to tell people they are stupid… when you need to take a look in the mirror. grow up already.

batz, still here? wasting your time talking to low iq people? you must be above that right? … give me a break you buffoon… stop. pretending. to. be. smart.
Oh hey it’s yet another smurf account with literally identical yet equally hypocritical opinions. If I call someone out for being a pretend chemist or pretend statistician, I am “pretending to be smart” but the pretend chemist somehow gets a pass despite running around telling everyone he’s got a Masters in Chemistry when he doesn’t even know what a functional group is.
You need to stop spamming the forums on multiple accounts and get a life, kid. Your trolling is way to freaking obvious. When dozens of accounts come crawling out of the woodwork, each one in lockstep to protect a very specific narrative, it’s just insulting that you think anyone is dumb enough to fall for this garbage.

when a streamer even rotti act important on me at my expense, they will find they are standing on a thin ice with what makes them great
Yeah the arrogance of some people is astounding, and all because a number on their stream page says “2,000 viewers”. Talk about a glass house if I’ve ever seen one. Streamers are monkies dancing for attention, hoping the viewers give them some fruit juice - nothing more, nothing less.

I don’t see any evidence he exaggerated his credentials. Just seemed like a typical back-and-forth discussion on statistics to me.
There’s nothing wrong with disagreeing with people, even in their professional fields, but I think trying to discredit people’s credentials based on arguments you disagree with is a little much.
