Are you talking about Ghost snipe?. Snipe has 10 range and Lurkers(after HIVE tech range upgrade) have 10 range.

They have the exact same range

because Terran shouldn’t have viable late game in TvZ.

Lurkers attack cancels Ghost attack, so you can’t kill Lurkers with Ghosts.

Terran is pretty much unique in this regard as their damage dealing spell can be canceled by dealing any damage to Ghost.

Such mechanic was probably introduced to make Terran players even more frustrated by late game and promote Terran cheese and all-ins.

New Terran whine meta: zergs 10 range is more than terrans 10 :rofl:

yeah. ok so the lurker’s attack cancels ghost, outranged still seems like a good way to describe it because the ghost’s attack range gets decreased to 0 as in the attack is now non-existant. plz fix blizzard.

This argument is so bs. Yes, if you fight 1 lurker vs 1 ghost, the lurker will cancel the ghost attack. But what about bio + multiple ghosts? Dont tell me, that if you snipe f.e. with 5 ghosts, the zerg will manually attack all of them (because with auto attack, theres a high chance, that atleast some lurkers will attack the same ghost). So yes, in theory, lurkers do cancel ghosts attacks, but in reality, that bs.

Zerg have hydras lurkers banes possibly, you cant do any counter play, ghosts barely work if you miracolusly stayed in the game and managed to somehow do dmg
Its unfortunate you live in misbeliefs, like you dont play the game, and you actually think blizz listens to people like dualblades or actually anyone on these forums
His 10x whine threads a day would make terran the only race in the game, think for a second

Liberator range openings are actually good again. IDK why people dont use those for bio
