Maybe because game is broken and heavily favor for protoss (against terran) and zerg and terrans have to play 3x better than you opponent to win. Th1s sh1t is annoying i was beating 5600k protosses with 5k terran, but losing to 4.7 and it feels like same player, both will have gm macro and extra 30 chargelots which they a move and even if they lose whole army it doesnt matter because are ahead from economy being broken and can reapeatedly suicide units without any micro. It gets annoying quickly. Terran aren’t whinners, game is just ridiculously imbalanced… I once offraced tos and beatean after 30 games 140 zerg gm and got higher rank than with terran after 6 years. So you can see how annoying it is. If i can get higher rank with tos after playing 30 games than with like 5-6k games after 6 years with terran. the kid literallly build 10 missile turrets on 2 bases instead of drones or marines when they saw my first 6 mutas, that is the mark of a low iq player

if you’re saying terran has a history of this, then maybe this one player isn’t just making their cringey race look even worse, maybe it’s uncovering a problem that could be fixed with getting the abuse out, and understanding how to separate bm (like a pro player solar, for example) and abuse
abuse is unfair within a match setting and can cause solo ranked win/loss to be not as accurate as if people were just playing the game and the bm without having to deal with mentally abusive people telling others to commit suicide, or people on the forums that decide to come to defend mentally abusive people telling other players to commit suicide
sucks that people like this exist in the sc2 community, i hope we can get rid of the abuse and understand what is actually a play within the game or a bm that can get you an economic lead, and what is past the point of ok within a 1v1 competitive video game with a 7 figure prize pool
i view the game as army vs army (units vs units) and i feel the personal feelings each army has towards each other, and i will forever fight and defend my army against the enemy army, but maybe the popular viewpoint is viewing it as a literal boxing match where both players are physically boxing each other?
maybe blizzard can just implement an easy way to ignore all enemy players in game in chat before the game instead of having to waste 10 seconds of apms going to message log and blocking everybody
and then the game will feel more like pro, where half the time the chat is empty

just make a button that says “disable all in game chat (everybody/friends only/off)”

I suspect the Terran stereotype of toxicity exists because the race is designed to essentially promote griefing. They have a million allins, annoying cheeses and can beat a lot of their counters through pure micro or using their brain, hell the race is practically themed around harass…and I think that attracts a certain mindset.
Now not all Terrans enjoy griefing but I suspect a large portion do. Or at least the ones I typically come across. They even tend to BM the worst, even when they know they’re doing some seriously broken stuff like BC Mine Raven Viking Mass Turret vs Protoss.
Whenever ladder gets derpy the 1st thing that happens is everyone switches to Terran and starts allinning on 1 base. It’s happened several times in the past already. That’s either one hell of a coincidence or it’s a variable that points toward the stereotype being true; Terran is a griefer’s paradise.
I truly detest threads like this. People like this are bottom feeders and so pathetic.
End of the day, this is a video game. Someone gets pissed, just laugh at it and move on.
