Why are Shadow Tech Units Better?

Reapers from shadow tech comp do significantly higher damage against light. Fine, I guess, but why dont Han and horner reapers get this damage?

Also, liberators do +10 damage for no reason. 100 damage with +3 where regular libs do 90

  1. Our Reapers can fly and drop bombs on units.
  2. Nova’s Liberators deal 125 base.

Nova’s liberators are elite and cannot be compared to regular libs in such ocassion.

We don’t have regular Liberators yet. Even then, MP Liberators are subject to changes at any given time, unlike the Co-op ones.

  1. H&H Reapers don’t cost any gas. Such a ridiculous anti-light and anti-structure damage for 50/0 unit will probably be too much.
  2. Not sure, but probably at LotV release time regular Liberators had the same damage, but PvP changes since then do not apply to Coop units, mostly.

Lore-wise, H&H Reapers (and all of Han’s units) are “junkers” using salvaged tech pieced together into something usable; effective in some ways but different from standard-issue units. Haven’t you ever wondered why H&H Hellions deal anti-armored damage instead of using flamethrowers?
