I was one year out. Last 2 months I have known the current top of the top Zerg players. You know well:
Serral
Reynor
Rogue
Dark
SoO
but, who are the top of the top Terran and Protoss players? Specially with Protoss is rather strange, because I read forum that Stats, Zest, Neeb, Trap, etc, are not at the same level that the Zerg players above.
Yesterday I opened Aligulac and I saw that the best protoss are Stats, Zest, Neeb, Trap… (HerO and Classic are out no?), the same that are not as skilled as best Zergs.
Who are the top of the top Protoss players competing with the above Zerg players? or simply all the top of the top Protoss players are not in the same level that top of the top zerg players currently? How is this possible? Havent Protoss been working hard last years?
Same happens with Terran players, but even worst, they are disappeared. Where is Innovation? I only heard about Special, Gumiho and Maru, and the same, is like if they are not in the same skill level than the best Zergs.

none, protoss has no top players
stats, classic, trap, showtime, ptitdrogo, parting, sOS, zest, patience … there’s a lot of protoss out there 
Neither of those seem to be much top tier anymore.
ROFL, those are literally the best protoss we have but they are not considered top tier? you see why i say “oh it’s jonus” …

Very pedantic, but no, Zerg is supreme these days, and there is no purpose for any Protoss player to even queue up for ranked anymore.
Let the game go to ZvZ, so the E-sports scene finally dies, and the cancer of “pro balance” dies along with it.

Those mentioned above are indeed the top protoss right now and there are not even close to serral or raynor.
As for terrans if clem doesn’t have an epiphany they are pretty screwed too

I wonder if the repeated non neccesary nerfs might have something to do with this ? I mean, since LOTV every unit except the sentry (ravagers nerfed it in some way but y’know), DT (archons) and phoenix (Mothership as well) got nerfed, stalkers, zealots, adepts, HTs, disruptors, collosus, warp prism, voidrays, immortals, tempests, carriers (EDIT : observer nerf lmao). ALL of those units got nerfed mostly for arbitrary reasons.
Yet everytime Protoss was able to comeback and beat Terran and Zerg player, yet in HOTS for some reason with all the unnerfed protoss units terran and zerg were able to win games and the game felt balanced to everyone. But for some reason in LOTV even though Terran and Zerg got buffed everywhere they seem to not be able to win versus Protoss.
What I trully believe is that with their nerf Protoss policy, Blizzard has created peanut brainers that cannot get out of their comfort zone to innovate and play the game the way it is intended. TY proved mech was possible against Protoss when I’ve been saying it for years now.
Blizzard created the situation we are in, every patch they are nerfing protoss but protoss finds ways, terrans and zerg don’t need to find ways they just need to wait for the next nerf.

The game was inherently balanced with 6 workers and a slower ramp up in economy. In lotv they almost by passed the entire early game virtually deleting an array of builds like forge FE into +2 blink timing.
hots in my opinion wasn’t balanced, proxy stargate into oracles was like the go too build for much of the expansion, also SH was introduced giving us 1.30-2 hour games in tournament play(firecake,stephano heavily abused them).
In my opinion there are 2 main problems with the current game(those apply only in the pro scene)

Zergs are inherently too safe, not only queens shut down most harass but as a race they have access to spores way too early and without having to get out of their way to get them.

Most protoss units are too expensive for what they do and way too specific in their use. Take colossus for example that is good vs light units and completely trash against anything else or immortals who are the best anti armor unit but can die to 7 lings or stalkers who are ok vs armored but have one of the lowest dps vs anything else.

Zest, herO, and WhiteRa are my all time favorites. I also liked Huk and IncontroL.
Stats and Trap are top of the top. Without Classic you’ve no other. Then SHowtime/Neeb/Drogo but if you mean like really top of the top only 1st two. And even so none seem to be as strong as Dark/Serral
Maru would be equal to that, Innovation - I know he can take games of Serral but being 0-3ed showed me he is not there anymore also in NW.
Maru doesnt have that success THX to ZERG and TY is only slightly.
So where is the terran domination? I see this:
Zerg overrepresented everywhere… Terran barely and Protoss probably in worst state of the 3 right now. Zergcraft. Im not talking ladder where noob Zergs cant win mech

There aren’t any top T or P players at the moment. They are all overshadowed by a broken map pool that Zerg has been dominating on for the last 2 or 3 years.
