I was looking forward to Blizzcon. Unfortunately, it was just announced the new commander except preview video.
Of course, there were two short videos and some screenshots.
I was not very satisfied personally.

I feel like Mengsk wasn’t really ready yet, and the blizzcon announcement was just because they had to say something about Starcraft.
We’ll probably get a trailer when he’s ready for release.

Mengsk was way more complete than Zeratul was at last blizzcon, all his units have non-placeholder assets beyond the portraits.
If the news page is anything to go by, he does seem to not have the artwork for his level up stuff yet though

Jokes aside, that’s what everyone said… what a tease it was. Hopefully, Mengsk’s release will be later this month, which means the trails leading up to may be a week or two from now.

Having played it, he’s complete. Minor art is missing from the BlizzCon build is all, but he was much more complete than Zeratul was. Don’t judge it if you haven’t actually seen how it plays.

The big ladder patch is set for Nov. 26, I’d say that’s the confirmation for Mengsk’s release.
If we get a trailer beforehand my money’s on the 19th.

Is there any chance Arcturus Mengsk gets released tomorrow? The patches are usually done on Tuesdays
Sounds like it’s going to be next Tuesday.
No maintenance this week and the big balance patch is confirmed next week, so it’s almost certainly next week.
